Works with a team to identify and solve complex technical problems related to mechanical systems and components. Performs research for new technologies, technical publications, and voice of customer to generate ideas for improvements. Produces and interprets technical deliverables (e.g., engineering calculations, FEA, test reports, etc.) Frequently assists and interacts with other departments to ensure quality, manufacturability, and supply chain needs are met. Collaborates with other engineers, technicians, and production staff to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. Other job responsibilities as assigned. Key Responsibilities * Perform system level engineering from design definition through commissioning. * Design pumping, slurry mixing, fluid power, power train, and structural systems for blending equipment. * Develop equipment layouts and general arrangements to ensure complete system integration. * Conduct engineering analysis for product changes, new development, and repackaging into trailers, skids, or vessels. * Process data, prepare engineering reports, and diagnose equipment system malfunctions. * Contribute to reliability activities including risk assessments and FMEA. * Define and execute product verification and validation testing. * Support Manufacturing during assembly, troubleshooting, and production testing. * Maintain communication with project leadership regarding scope, schedule, and cost. * Collaborate with cross functional teams including technical, manufacturing, and support groups. Qualifications Required * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. * Four or more years of related engineering experience. * Experience with machinery design and installation, including hydraulic, pneumatic, structural, and instrumentation systems. * Knowledge of bulk material flow, fluid dynamics, hydraulic systems, pump specifications, piping systems, and process modeling/simulation. * Strong interpersonal skills and experience working with multidisciplinary teams. * Ability to work in a high‑expectation environment requiring accuracy, initiative, and multitasking.
