As an ElectricalEngineer Sr., you'll lead the design and optimization of electrical systems that power essential infrastructure; pipelines, compressor stations, and storage facilities. Responsibilities/Expectations:
Leads the design, implementation, and optimization of electrical systems and power distribution networks supporting critical infrastructure such as pipelines, compressor stations, and storage facilities
Champions the integration of advanced technologies including automation, real-time monitoring, and energy storage to enhance system performance and reduce operational costs
Implements robust safety measures such as arc flash mitigation and fault detection systems to protect personnel and ensure infrastructure reliability

Required: Bachelor's Degree in ElectricalEngineering field from an ABET accredited college or university, OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology from an ABET accredited college or university in a relevant field with Professional Engineer (P.E.) license and eight (8) years engineering experience in natural gas, data centers or related industry
Preferred: Master's degree in electricalengineering

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES
Detailed understanding of refinery processes and operations
Assist in providing support for the Plant Operations
Assist in daily monitoring and troubleshooting of the process control systems. Work in a team environment with operators and engineers to assist in maintaining and troubleshooting problems as well as develop control applications for the process units.
Continuous improvement and expansion of the advanced control systems to meet and exceed unit control objectives
Continuous improvement of regulatory control applications as needed for operations and to support advanced control applications. Develop and program correlations and calculated variables as needed to supplement advanced control applications and operational requirements.
Implement and maintain supporting applications for process control applications, such as AMS, PI, LIMS, Trace, Integrity MOC and others. Provide training and consulting to personnel in the use of these systems as needed.
Develop AFE's and budget items for all controls and supplemental applications. Provide instrumentation and controls consulting to other projects, such as new units, as needed.
Engineer and implement effective operator interfaces for both regulatory and advanced controls and supplemental applications. Develop and maintain good standards for graphics, alarms, and other parts of the operator interface, assist in the maintenance of all the process control systems hardware and software.

Key Responsibilities
Lead moderate to large-sized electrical and controls projects, providing technical direction and decision-making on complex issues
Coordinate with multi-discipline design teams to deliver complete, high-quality construction documents
Develop power and controls drawings, specifications, and supporting documentation
Perform engineering calculations, studies, detailed designs, reports, and design reviews
Design and review complex control systems including PLCs, SCADA, instrumentation, control panels, control narratives, cause & effect diagrams, and network architectures
Design and support electrical power systems including high, medium, and low voltage systems, switchgear, MCCs, drives, emergency power, service entrances, and power distribution
Manage project scope changes, identify risks, and support development of mitigation strategies
Oversee internal staff and external contractors while maintaining schedule and financial control
Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, vendors, and contractors
Provide field support during construction as needed
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in electricalengineering
5+ years of related electricalengineering experience
Industrial electrical control systems and/or power system design experience
Direct experience supporting industrial facilities
Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), NFPA 70E, API, and AGA recommended practices
Understanding of electrical area classification (hazardous areas)
