ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in the review of the operational status of all facility equipment and systems to implement plans to minimize downtime, anticipate and solve problems in a timely manner, and to identify opportunities for improvement. Maintain the Maintenance Management System for tracking work, spare parts, and historical maintenance records for all facility equipment. Support programs and procedures to maintain the facility's top-tier appearance and operation. Maintain and repair facility maintenance shop equipment. Ensure that all facility equipment and machinery adhere to all OSI-OKC Piper HSE policies as well as OSHA regulations. Perform all tasks as required of a Safety Sensitive position. OTHER DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinate outside contractors and verify all required services or tasks are completed in a satisfactory manner. Effectively and efficiently use time to safely perform duties. Complete all paperwork in required manner and time. Demonstrate a willingness to learn to produce new products, use new procedures, and embrace and support change. Follow and support established HSE programs. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS High School Diploma, GED or equivalent. Three (3) years of experience in general facility maintenance to include two (2) years repair/maintenance experience with HVAC, plumbing and electric equipment and systems. Must obtain and maintain active OSI-OKC Piper certification to operate Classes I, II, III, and IV forklifts and train others as forklift operators. Must obtain and maintain active OSI-OKC Piper certifications to operate cranes and train other crane operators. Must obtain and maintain Authorized Driver status as defined by the Oil States Company Vehicles and Drivers policy. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Full-time Description Main Purpose: The Electrical Maintenance Technician specializes in Hydrant Fuels Automation Maintenance (HFAM), is responsible for the electrical and automation systems that control government hydrant fuels operations, and has the ability to troubleshoot and maintain Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) in a highly safety-conscious environment. This role requires travel to various government sites across the United States as required by project or operational needs. Maintenance of the buildings, equipment, and related facilities and systems. Perform related work to ensure maximum production quantity and quality. A Day In The Life * Implement and maintain preventive maintenance on all equipment and machinery within the plant, as noted in the equipment manufacturer's guidelines. * Visually inspect and test machinery to detect malfunction. DOT driving, which includes electronic logging and obeying all DOT driving laws apply. * Attend all safety training, complete all safety training modules and work in a safe and environmentally friendly way. The Maintenance Technician will be tasked with responding to all service requests and maintenance needs of the company. Full-time Description REPORTING RELATIONSHIP & FUNCTIONAL ROLE This position reports functionally to the Production Manager. The Hydraulic Technician position has three levels, each with slightly different requirements in education and/or experience. REQUIREMENTS & CONDITIONS Education: High School diploma or equivalent; Preferred: Trade school or other certifications. Experience: There are three levels for the Hydraulic Technician, each building on the other as follows: The Apprentice requires 0-3 years of experience and education. The uncertified Hydraulic Technician has 3-8 years of experience and does not have any specialized hydraulic certification. The Senior Hydraulic Technician has 8+ years experienced and has specialized hydraulic training/ or other certified schooling. Skills, Knowledge, Abilities: Know basic tools, average to good math skills (fractions), basic computer skills. Character Traits: Team oriented and spirited Dependable Integrity Physical Requirements: Standing, sitting, climbing, walking, crouching, stooping, twisting, and bending. Requirements RESPONSIBILITIES AND JOB DUTIES Responsibilities: Operating and inspecting assigned equipment including but not limited to forklifts, vehicles, tools, and/or cranes. Assist/perform evaluations and/or repairs based on their area of expertise per the job traveler, procedures, drawings, and verbal instructions. Assist/perform the assembly process and testing of hydraulic power units, lube systems, and components as per the job traveler, procedures, drawings, and verbal instructions. Assist/perform field service jobs based on their area of expertise. Assist with maintenance inspections of building and equipment, while making necessary repairs. Conduct and assist with maintenance inspections of building and equipment and make necessary repairs. Administrative/General: Assist in the development, review, and maintenance of processes, procedures, and guidelines. Assist in special projects as assigned by the Production Manager. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Provide a safe working environment through compliance with procedures, training requirements, and approved safe work plans to protect personnel and plant equipment. Install, adjust, inspect, service, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC and mechanical systems used in an electrical power generation facility. Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on HVAC and plant support systems to support reliable plant operation. Troubleshoot HVAC-related equipment failures and perform post-event and postmortem analysis of forced outages within assigned systems. Follow and execute established maintenance procedures for HVAC systems and associated equipment. Maintain awareness of spare parts and materials needed for HVAC maintenance activities and report deficiencies as identified. Execute scheduled maintenance activities during unit outages and routine maintenance windows. Perform inspections and condition assessments of HVAC equipment to support preventive maintenance and equipment reliability. Utilize IBM Maximo to receive, execute, document, and close work orders as required. Work odd shifts and respond to after-hours or emergency callouts as required to support plant operations. Maintain maintenance records and documentation for assigned HVAC systems. Perform other duties as assigned. EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE The preferred applicant will have a minimum of four (4) years of experience performing skilled maintenance as an HVAC Technician in a power generation or large industrial facility, and completion of a two-year course of study in a technical discipline from a recognized trade, technical, or vocational school, or accredited college; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Additional preference will be given to candidates with training and direct experience in advanced-class combustion turbine chiller systems. Must possess a valid Oklahoma driver's license. SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, & ABILITIES REQUIRED Strong knowledge of HVAC and plant support system maintenance and repair in a power generation or industrial environment. Functional competency with personal computers, including experience using IBM Maximo, TK Pro, and standard business software such as Excel, Access, and Word. Ability to methodically analyze and troubleshoot complex technical problems. Ability to clearly document work activities, findings, and equipment conditions through written reports and work orders. Ability to read, interpret, and carry out complex written and oral instructions. Willingness and ability to work extended hours when necessary, including scheduled overtime and emergency callouts in support of plant operations. Ability to complete assigned work with minimal supervision. PHYSICAL / MENTAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to walk, climb stairs, crawl, and work from ladders and elevated platforms. Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and around high-voltage equipment. Ability to lift, move, and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds on an intermittent basis. Must possess the mental, visual, and auditory acuity required for attention to detail. Manual dexterity required for the operation of test equipment, hand tools, and the installation, adjustment, and repair of control devices. ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS & SAFETY CONCERNS Work locations may include office, indoor, and outdoor environments, including areas with high noise levels, elevated temperatures, and confined spaces. Emergency repair work may be required during plant or system upsets. JOB LOCATION: Work is performed at the Grand River Energy Center in Chouteau, Oklahoma. Minimal travel requirements.
