As an Industry Manager within our Government Specialized Industry Banking team, you will oversee the Midwest Region, which encompasses Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Ohio, Michigan, Minnesota, Kansas, Kentucky, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, West Virginia, and Western PA. In this role, you will lead a team of Bankers, Treasury Management Officers, Associates, and Analysts in their efforts to develop and maintain profitable banking relationships with government clients. A typical team includes direct management of 7 to 10 team members including Industry Executives and directly reporting bankers. **Job Description**
This role oversees end-to-end wire transfer operations, managing a group responsible for processing high-value payments daily. The role focuses on modernizing internally built capabilities and transitioning the wire platform, while leading the legacy systems during the transformation. Responsible for the overall operational performance of assigned area or business line. Develops group-wide business plans, develops policies and ensures compliance. Evaluates and improves operational methods and strategies to improve efficiency, effectiveness, productivity, and/or controls. Leads collaborative efforts with other internal and external groups. **Key responsibilities:**
