  • Private Bank and Wealth Specialist Lending Client Relations Manager

    Citizens Private Bank has accelerated its strategy to build out Wealth Management, scale Business Banking, grow deposits, and expand in key growth markets. We are looking for talented individuals with a demonstrated track record of delivering a white glove experience to clients that results in long-term client loyalty. As part of the Specialty Lending team, the Private Bank Client Relations Manager will play a key role in supporting the transition of our existing loan portfolio to our new loan origination platform, while managing advisor relationships and originating new business-as-usual (BAU) loans. This position requires strong lending experience and the ability to collaborate effectively with advisors and relationship managers to deliver exceptional client experience. CRMs partner with the Lending Specialists and work directly with Relationship Managers to meet with prospects and structure new deals and serve as a primary contact for credit clients. Furthermore, CRMs work to optimize the credit quality of the team's loan portfolio as well as facilitating the implementation of process improvements to create an efficient loan process and enhanced client experience. Given the range of responsibilities, the CRM will be required to have an in depth understanding of the Bank's operations and the specialty lending industry. + Oversee the credit portfolio/underwriting process and review credit approval packages. + Provide guidance to support staff on loan requests and complex client inquires. Must have the expertise to step-in and handle difficult loan negotiations with clients. + Delegation and assignment of credit requests for new prospective clients. + Strong understanding and knowledge of the legal requirements related to credit facilities being covered by the team. + Oversee the loan process through all stages (prospecting, underwriting, legal negotiation, closing, post-closing activities). + Serve as a primary contact for credit clients + Loan Migration: Repaper existing loan book onto the new origination platform + Advisor Collaboration: Work closely with advisors to manage client expectations and address lending needs. + Loan Originations: Originate new BAU loans + Repaper Initiative: initially there will be a primary focus on facilitating the transition of the existing loan book from the legacy system to the new origination platform to ensure all client loans are accurately migrated and aligned with updated operational workflows. This involves: + Reviewing and validating existing loan documentation and collateral evaluations. + Coordinating with internal teams to resolve discrepancies or missing information. + Communicating with advisors to manage client expectations during the transition. + Ensuring timely and accurate completion of all repapering tasks to minimize disruption to client relationships.
