Under RN supervision, the Endoscopy Assistant is responsible for the care of the patient undergoing endoscopic procedures and assisting the physicians while applying age-specific needs in the assessment, treatment, and/or care of patients. Must take call on a rotating basis.
Job Specific:
1. Participates in the safety management and infection control programs (EF).
2. Assembles the necessary equipment and supplies according to the type of procedure performed (EF).
3. Know specific use of al equipment to be used (EF).
4. Position stretcher correctly according to procedure and assist in positioning patient on stretcher (EF).
5. Assist in connecting patient to : B/P cuff, ECG leads, Pulse Oximeter and Oxygen (EF).
6. Assists Physician and Registered Nurse with all procedures including, but not limited to Bronchoscopies, Colonoscopies, EGD's, ERCP's, PEG tube placement, Liver Biopsies, etc. (EF).
7. Observes progress of procedure and provides additional equipment, supplies or other items to physician as needed
8. Removes contaminated scope to work room (EF).
9. Assists in the cleaning and processing of contaminated scopes / instruments according to the Endoscopy Department Policies and Procedures (EF).
10. Assists with the orientation of new personnel (EF).
11. Takes call as necessary / assigned (EF).

Physician Patient Access Representative I (FT)

The CMP Patient Access Representative is responsible for verification and data entry of patient demographics, insurance eligibility, benefit verification, referrals, and authorizations. Calculates, communicates, and collects patient financial responsibility before, during, or after services are provided, as appropriate. Sets up pre-service payment plan agreements. Works rejected or errored claims as they pertain to patient demographics, insurance eligibility, referrals, and authorizations.

Verify patient demographics and proper completion of all required patient registration forms, including accurate data entry into practice management system. (EF)

The Sleep Technologist works under the general supervision of the Sleep Technologist Supervisor, the medical director or designee to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders including in center and home sleep apnea testing, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, comprehensive patient care and direct patient education. The Sleep Technologist is credentialed in sleep technology and is able to provide oversight of other sleep center staff. Technicians and trainees work under the direct supervision of the sleep technologist or the medical director.
Job Specific:
Sleep Study Preparation and Set-up
Collect, analyze and integrate patient information in order to identify and meet the patient-specific needs (physical/mental limitations, current emotional/physiological status regarding the testing procedure, pertinent medical/social history).
Determine final testing parameters/procedures in conjunction with the ordering physician or clinical director and laboratory protocols.
Review the patient's history and verify the medical order. (EF)

Job Description
The Physical Therapist will evaluate, administer, and direct physical therapy procedures utilized in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, as prescribed by a referring practitioner. Responsibilities include establishing goals for therapy, assessing patients' progress at regular intervals, and documenting findings accurately.

Typical schedule: 2-12 hour shifts a week with occasional 3rd to help cover time off requests.
Reporting to the Unit Manager the Telemetry Technician (TT) provides continuous surveillance of monitor tracings on the central console located in the telemetry unit. The Telemetry Technician obtains a rhythm strip and correctly identifies and reports any changes to the charge nurse immediately. If acting as HUC, performs secretarial and receptionist duties associated with the patient care unit while serving as a focal communication source at the nurses station. Maintains patient records, transcribes physician orders, assists in coordination of patient location and maintains order at the nursing station.
Job Specific:
Assigns a telemetry monitor to each new patient and includes the patient's name and date of birth following hospital policy for application and documentation(EF)
Maintains constant surveillance of monitors(EF)
Runs initial and routine rhythm strips according to hospital policy(EF)
Will evaluate, interpret, and document in the medical record rhythms obtained(EF)
Will report changes and /or concerns to the charge nurse or primary nurse on a timely basis(EF)
Will maintain the telemetry flow sheet at the nursing station followed by placement in the medical record(EF)
