Job Summary
The National Assurance Operations Leader is tasked with enhancing and overseeing the operational aspects of the firm's Assurance Practice. Leads all activities for the Assurance practice to effectively evaluate and integrate an acquired firm assurance practice including:
Initial diligence procedures and evaluation against acquisition criteria
Assurance practice economics data gathering and evaluation
Human capital quality and staffing adequacy assessment
Quality review of assurance engagement workpapers, policies and procedures
Assessment of assurance methodologies, technologies, and innovations
Risk identification and assessment
Leads the Assurance practice due diligence process, inclusive of conducting engagement level reviews
Develops necessary integration project plan for acquired firms, including the incorporation of entity‐ specific matters identified during the due diligence process
Evaluates and coordinates change management requirements, including but not limited to, incremental infrastructure needs, assurance specific systems and tools, human capital, migration related matters, and other related matters necessary to achieve fully integrated state
Collaborates with Regional and Local Assurance Practice leaders, Integration Management Office, Operations, Information Technology, Human Resources, and other Service Lines to integrate acquired partners and professional employees, staffing and recruiting, migration and implementation of technology systems, and vendor contracts
Identifies incremental acquisition costs and communicates to appropriate departments during pre‐ merger process
Lead and oversee assurance integration project teams to implement all integration activities
Lead and coordinate appropriate and necessary training programs for the acquired firms including:
Independence and conflict check processes
Policy and Procedure training
Methodology transfer training
Methodology and technology training
Timely communication of project plan status, key past due and upcoming milestones, critical items and elevates issues identified and resolution plan to Assurance Leadership and Integration Management Office
Qualifications
Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting
10+ years of prior experience in assurance practice of a large national or super‐regional accounting firm; preferably with experience supporting firm M&A integration activities
Comprehensive understanding of assurance practice and firm operations and economics
Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and auditing standards
Experience with commercial entities (manufacturing, distribution, real estate, construction, technology) preferred; employee benefit plan, not‐for‐profit or financial services is a plus

This is a contractual position for approximately 4-6 months starting in January 2026 while an existing CC team member is on maternity leave. The role can sit anywhere in the US with the strong preference to work EST hours.
Responsibilities
* Lead the coordination of complex interview schedules for partner and experienced hire roles, managing interactions with hiring managers and candidates at multiple stages of the interview process.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for managing and optimizing interview logistics, including virtual and in-person interviews across different time zones and locations.
* Proactively troubleshoot scheduling challenges, adjusting timelines and resources as needed to ensure an efficient interview experience.
* Maintain ongoing communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing updates and a high-touch experience, especially for partner and other senior-level candidates.
* Manage the new hire onboarding and background check process for experienced, entry level and internship candidates in conjunction with HR partners.
* Maintain data integrity in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for both requisitions and candidates through regular data audits.

* Assist in creating presentations for team meetings, trainings and other recruiting-related presentations.
* Assist in maintaining the talent acquisition team's SharePoint, which includes team training resources.

Qualifications
* 4-6+ years of experience in a recruiting or HR coordinator role.

We're looking for someone who has:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics and an advanced degree in a related field.
* CPA or other applicable license.
* 10+ years of progressive experience in the FLVS industry.
* Master's degree in Accounting or equivalent field
* Experience acquiring new clients and growing a book of business
* 5 + years of supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling associates
* Broad background and knowledge in litigation/expert services and the calculation of damages in different types of matters.

What Work You Will be Responsible For:
Manage a team of accountants who perform all back-office accounting functions for clients including reconciliations, bill and expense payment, payroll, and the creation of management reports and financial statements
Responsible for leading property/construction accounting for respective portfolio
Provide insight and guidance to clients on how Real Estate technology (Yardi/other) can be utilized properly to manage the business
Maintain technical knowledge of lease accounting
Oversee property and lease setup, CAM reconciliation, and ensure accurate financial reporting
Manage deadlines and priorities to deliver high-quality client deliverables
Support fixed asset and debt management processes
Collaborate with offshore teams to optimize service delivery
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field
7+ years of experience in real estate accounting, managing multiple property entities (commercial, residential, and new construction)
2+ years of managerial or supervisory experience
Full-cycle accounting experience, including financial statement preparation, reconciliations, and month-end close
Preferred/Desired Skills:
Master's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field
CPA Certification
Technical accounting and financial reporting experience in a public company or REIT
Experience with real estate transactions (acquisitions, dispositions, development, leasing, financing, and capital improvements)
Hands-on experience of CAM reconciliations and property/lease setup in Yardi
Experience with fixed asset and debt management
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
