Own the financial monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes, including assigned journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, accruals, and complex accounting items for multiple clients simultaneously. Develop a detailed close plan for each client and make sure all tasks are completed prior to scheduling a formal review with the Director of Managed Accounting Services.
Proactively manager project deadlines to ensure delivery of work product based on client expectations and deadlines.
Collaborate with the Managed Accounting Services and Tax teams regarding technical questions as well as progress of projects, tasks and associated budgets.
Review client financial performance on a monthly basis and make recommendations for improvement
Assist clients with properly recording transactions associated with revenue recognition (ASC 606), equity and leases to ensure GAAP compliance.
Collaborate with team members to make recommendations to clients associated with process improvements and KPIs/Dashboard improvements.
Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned

We are looking for an Account Manager to join our Advisory Department in our Los Angeles office. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for providing excellent client service. Responsibilities, but not limited to:
Responsible for understanding the Client's organization and structure, knowing the product/services and keeping abreast of Client news and changes
Maintains and updates Client's records
Develops system tailored to each client to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; defining bookkeeping policies and procedures
Maintains accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
Maintains Data faction ledgers for client entities
Prepares credit card allocations and reconciliations
Processes bill payments (check, electronic), bank deposits, wire transfers, invoicing
Provides daily service to clients, their assistants/family/attorneys/agents
Deals with asset acquisitions and dispositions, closings and new account set ups
Manages client's payroll for their office and household employees
Tracks residual and fee income payments
Maintains historical records by filing documents
Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends
Processes medical claims and necessary follow up
Responsible for ad hoc requests internal or external
Prepares 1099's and tax reporting for internal tax department
Qualifications:
5+ years of related experience within a professional services organization
Outstanding written, verbal and interpersonal skills
Ability to multi-task and shift focus as needed
Possess basic accounting knowledge
Strong attention to detail
Multi-tasker
Knowledge of Datafaction, Microsoft Excel and Word
Knowledge of Medicaid, DGA, SAG and WGA benefits

Qualifications
Successful candidates will have:
