The individual in this role will provide operational support for our Special Situations, Mortgaged Backed Securities (MBS), and Asset Based Finance business. Rangers assigned to the State House provide an active and visible uniformed presence that ensures public safety, discourages criminal activity, addresses improper use, and protects the State House's cultural resources. Public safety and cultural resource protection are initially maintained by screening visitors for prohibited articles thereby ensuring a safe environment for all within the building. A State House Ranger also offers visitor services to all who enter by providing information and informal interpretation as to the cultural history of the building and by directing visitors to their intended destinations within the building.

Minimum Entrance Requirements

III. A Graduate degree with a major in civil engineering** may be substituted for a maximum of three years of the required (A) experience and one year of the required (B) experience. *
**NOTE\: The terms civil engineering and civil engineering technology include related engineering disciplines, such as construction, survey, hydraulics, design, transportation, structural, soils, sanitary, environmental, drafting, highway, architectural, mining, airport and materials.
*Education toward such a degree will be prorated on the basis of the proportion of the requirements actually completed.
NOTE\: Educational substitutions will only be permitted for a maximum of one year of the required (B) experience. No substitutions will be permitted for the required (C) experience.

Position Summary
The responsibilities of the Assistant Area Engineer are to provide support for Construction Area Engineers, to perform the duties of the Construction Area Engineers during short term absence, and to perform special duties for the Construction Office.
Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinate with Area Engineers.
Attend field and office meetings and perform site inspections related to construction projects, representing the construction section. Provides guidance to District construction office for problem resolution. Coordinate among parties for problem resolution, both inside and outside of MassDOT.
Attend meetings associated with other Boston Sections and Divisions representing the Boston Construction Office, for Cost Recovery, Claims, IT Development, Utility Issues, Design Issues, and other project specific issues.
Review plans specifications and estimates for constructability.
Evaluating Bids and Processing Award Documentation.
Create Review and comment on Construction Schedules and Time Determinations.
Review District Construction Contract Amendment documentation from District offices and using paper and electronic means process these Amendments.
Organize, Review, and Comment on Policies and Procedures for the Construction Office such as, Standard Operating Procedure, Field Guidance Memo to District Office and Instruction Manuals for Systems.
Represent the Construction office in the Business Owner Role for IT projects such as eConstruction.
Support Construction Section Managers in the publication of Price Adjustment and Incentive/Disincentive Clauses.
Coordination of payment issues with financial personnel.
Support the Deputy Administrator / Chief of Construction Engineering, the Construction Engineer, and the Assist. Construction Engineer on Special Assignments including Gathering Data by District associated with request for data information. This will require coordination with IT, and District Offices.
Unit E Sign-On Bonus
This position is eligible for a five-thousand dollar ($5,000) signing bonus (“Signing Bonus”) if you are newly hired at MassDOT. Current MassDOT employees are not eligible for the Signing Bonus. The Signing Bonus will be paid in two parts\: 1) $3,000 (less applicable taxes) included in the employee's first paycheck. 2) $2,000 (less applicable taxes) after the successful completion of the employee's probationary period.

What you will do:

The Department of Public Health (DPH) is seeking a dynamic individual to provide overall support to the Division for Family Health Data and Analytics (DFHDA) and will work with a team of epidemiologists and data managers. This Student Intern position will support DFHDA through developing and implementing a REDCap database for tracking internal and external data requests involving division datasets including PELL, PRAMS, Vital Records used by DFHDA, and Birth Defects data. REDCap (Research Electronic Data Capture) is a secure web application for building and managing online surveys and databases.
Duties and Responsibilities (these duties are a general summary and not all inclusive):
The intern will meet with each dataset program to learn about typical requests, data elements, frequency, and purposes.
They will develop and build a survey/process within REDCap to identify the requests, indicating data elements, purpose, staff involved, unique or routine request, status of request, location of files/codes, and status of IRB applications if needed.
The intern will also develop reports to monitor the database use and make improvements to the process as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Currently enrolled full- or part-time in a graduate or undergraduate program at an accredited college or university.

The Massachusetts Developmental Disabilities Council is seeking a part-time Disability Policy Specialist. This is a professional position responsible for assisting with legislative and policy research and supporting the Council membership in undertaking policy education and awareness activities and implementing related Council State Plan objectives.
The candidate will occasionally be required to work outside of normal business hours, including weekends. Occasional in-state and out-of-state travel is also required.

The mission of the Division of Housing Stabilization is to ensure that homelessness is rare, brief, and non-recurring. Formerly known as the Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD), EOHLC works with municipalities, local housing authorities, non-profit organizations, and development partners to provide affordable housing options, financial assistance, and other support to Massachusetts communities.
OVERVIEW OF ROLE:
The Division of Housing Stabilization, along with the programs it oversees, is in transformation as the Commonwealth faces unprecedented demand for homelessness prevention and shelter services while faced with housing supply shortages. After a period of rapid expansion and crisis, the program and organization running it are planning and building the team within the Division for long-term stability. The Shelter Exits and Stabilization Manager is a critical new role supporting the newly formed Exits and Stabilization team.
The Shelter Exits and Stabilization Manager (hereinafter known as “the Manager”) is directly involved in the development of policies and strategies. Additionally they are responsible for leading and overseeing the implementation of policies and procedures to increase the number and quality of exits from the Emergency Assistance (EA) program, including overseeing the day-to-day administration of exit and stabilization programs. The Manager works closely with the exit workstream leads and family shelter leads to ensure effective and efficient collaboration across teams in support of the mission of exiting and stabilizing families from the Shelter system. The Manager of Shelter Exits and Stabilization contributes to the agency's mission of ensuring homelessness is rare, brief, and non-recurring through increasing family access to appropriate and sustainable housing solutions, employment opportunities, and supportive services.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (NOT ALL INCLUSIVE):
1.Policies:
· Directly involved in the development of policies and strategies to enable successful exits. Oversee implementation of the shelter length of stay policy, responsible for escalations, program management, and coordination across the EA shelter system
2.Oversight:
· Oversee and further optimize systems, processes, and day-to-day operations across rehousing, stabilization, and employment.
3.Technology & Reporting:
· Develop and implement processes with related technology platforms to enable EOHLC to track the outcomes for families exiting EA shelter over time.
· Responsible for reporting and performance monitoring for exit and stabilization programs.
4.Collaboration:
· Collaborate with the Director of HomeBASE and Rapid Re-housing on the development of a formalized stabilization team and program.
5. Supervision:
· Provide leadership and guidance to staff including completing performance appraisals, supervising staff work and providing ongoing support
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Proven experience in management and supervisory roles within public sector, with a track record of successful program management.
2. Experience working with State and Federal programs with complex regulations and policies and the demonstrated ability to develop necessary strategies for effective implementation.
3. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously as a result of effective planning, delegation and communication.
4. Demonstrated intermediate proficiency using Word, Excel and Outlook.
5. Strong understanding of operational processes and best practices, particularly in the context of contractor support and engagement.

About the Role
EOTSS is seeking to hire a Network Engineer Intern to join the EOTSS Network Engineering Team. The EOTSS Networking Engineering Team provides reliable Network Services and support to all Commonwealth of Massachusetts customers. The Department of Unemployment Assistance (DUA) administers the Unemployment Insurance (UI) program which provides temporary income assistance to Massachusetts workers who are unemployed through no fault of their own and who are able to work, available for work and looking for a job.
The Board of Review consists of three staff members, one serving as Chairman. The Board is responsible for reviewing, on appeal, decisions issued by the Department of Unemployment Assistance's Hearings Department. Responsibilities include:
Developing policy regarding interpretation of the Massachusetts Unemployment Insurance Law in the Commonwealth through the Board's decisions as the final administrative tribunal prior to the courts;
Rendering decisions on appeals of claimants and employers from decisions of the Commissioner allowing or denying the payment of benefits and on employers' subjectivity to the law;
Conducting "de novo" hearings in unemployment compensation cases in which claimants and employers are engaged in labor disputes where cases often involve group of claimants and employers, counsel, and labor union representatives; and
Making decisions at hearings regarding the introduction of evidence, issuance of subpoenas, and requests for continuance.
Approximately 3,000 cases annually are referred to the Board of Review.
Members of the Board of Review are appointed by the Governor and report to the Chair who is the official spokesperson and final board authority in the administrative decision-making process.

The Corporate Treasury team performs all global treasury activities for Mastercard, including capital planning, rating agency relationships, foreign exchange risk management, cash management/positioning, pensions asset-liability management, capital markets transactions (debt issuance, equity share buy-back), credit facility management, intercompany funding.
We are seeking a highly motivated Manager to join the cash investments team within Corporate Treasury. This position will be based in Purchase, NY
Reporting to the Director, Capital Markets, this Manager role will be responsible for leading the execution of Mastercard's corporate cash investment strategy along with performing day-to-day operations related to the company's cash investments
Role
Key responsibilities of this role include:
Leading the cash investments function for Mastercard in the management of the company's fixed income, money market, and deposit investments across multiple currencies (USD, EUR, GBP, ARS, etc.) investment portfolios
Lead interest income forecast and budget process including detailed variance analysis
Work with leadership to identify incremental investment yield opportunities
Prepare managerial reports and analysis related to Mastercard's investment portfolios
Oversee cash and investments related SEC disclosure preparation (e.g.,10Q and 10K footnotes)
Manage operations related to global investment accounts including opening/closing accounts and other related processes
Ensure and monitor compliance of investment portfolios with the company's investment guidelines; execute internal controls and support controllers and auditors in their processes
Lead the Mastercard commercial paper program
Work on improving existing Investment Team processes, models and controls
Potentially, provide analytical support for special projects across other corporate treasury teams
All About You
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; experienced with MS Excel and PowerPoint
Proven ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Knowledge of key accounting concepts and SEC disclosure requirements
Ability to prioritize work; manage projects in addition to day-to-day responsibilities
Written and oral English language proficiency; strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with Treasury Management Systems (Reval) and Investment tools/portals (Clearwater, Mosaic, Bloomberg, Refinitiv) desirable
Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
