WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY? The PortfolioManager is part of the credit management team focused on the long-term risk-adjusted returns for the bank within the assigned business segment and/or geographic area(s). This individual manages a sub-set of existing credits and is a key partner in the origination of new credits. Primary responsibilities include: Provide comprehensive credit recommendations and presentations to key risk partners related to prospect(s) and existing clients of the bank (including moderate to complex new credit structures, modifications, and extensions) based on a comprehensive review of the borrower(s) and guarantor(s)' financials (which may include current and historical financial statements, tax returns, projections and/or cash flow proformas.) This individual is expected to present credit recommendations within the bank's risk appetite and framework and follow the bank's policies, processes and procedures. This individual is expected to be responsive to their clients' credit needs with an elevated level of client service and credit acumen to address their needs appropriately and timely. This individual is responsible for the ongoing oversight and management of its portfolio (including timely risk rating assessments, reporting covenants, covenant compliance, and the preparation of quarterly and annual reports.)

* Credit Analysis: Analyzes credit data and perform underwriting to assess creditworthiness and recommend appropriate structures to the Sales team and client. Prepare underwriting memorandums and approval documents for presentation to Credit Risk.
* Performance Monitoring: Performs portfoliomanagement activities to monitor and analyze portfolio performance, including periodic reviews and covenant tracking.
* Data Analysis: Analyzes credit data to support underwriting and creditworthiness assessments including developing and presenting individual credit recommendations.
* Risk Management: Practices effective risk management, maintaining high standards of credit quality and origination in alignment with Bank's credit risk appetite, and compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements.
* Collaboration: Partners with Relationship Manager(s) to successfully manage credit account relationships. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and effective credit operations to achieve the Bank's strategic initiatives. Participate in ad-hoc projects to support the organization's priorities.
* Client Service: Provides exceptional client service by maintaining professionalism and effectively interacting with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored credit solutions. Participate in joint sales pitches with Relationship Manager(s).
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
*Required Qualifications**
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Finance, Business or related field
* Minimum 6 years of progressively increasing credit underwriting and portfoliomanagement experience in relevant industry/industries

GENERAL FUNCTION:

ABOUT THE ROLE:
Acts within established investment policy guidelines to recommend and execute investment programs designed to achieve the objectives of a significant volume of client accounts and/or relationships. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
The responsibilities for this role are below; you may support projects of varying complexity based on skill and organizational priorities.
Client Development: Develop satisfied clients and new sources of asset management revenue through frequent contact with relationships, generally of low to medium complexity and size.
Business Collaboration: Work with business partners and participate in One Bank activities, including One Bank meetings, pre-call planning, and post call follow-up to win new business opportunities, when applicable.
Investment Planning: Consult with clients and advisors to develop investment objectives and implement a suitable investment plan, maintaining an Investment Policy Statement (IPS) for each client relationship.
Proposal Presentation: Meet with prospects and clients, preparing and presenting proposals for investment management.
Account Administration Coordination: Work with Trust and/or Account Officers to learn the intentions of the trust, IRA, or agency agreement and identify the most appropriate investment policy to accomplish client objectives.
PortfolioManagement: Invest assets according to investment policy guidelines to deliver a competitive rate of return within the given level of risk and best interest of the client.
Team Engagement: Regularly engage with peers and business partners to ensure effective communication regarding client objectives and coordination of portfolio changes.
Market Awareness: Maintain awareness of new investment strategies, techniques and products through regular contact with other industry professionals and through internal and external research.
Trend Analysis: Keep informed of market trends and analyze the effect of these trends on clients' investment portfolios.
Policy Compliance: Follow established investment policies and procedures including annual account reviews and working to minimize and/or document exceptions.
Other Duties: Performing other duties as assigned, adapting to new tasks or shifts in priorities as necessary to support your team's and the company's mission.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree; a major in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration preferred.
Three or more years of professional experience; money management, investment research or financial services experience preferred.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Qualified candidates will possess a moderate degree of proficiency (typically from 3+ years of work or practical experience), in:
Communication: Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, and presentation skills.
Problem Solving & Analytical Thinking: Applies strong analytical skills to evaluate investment options, solve complex client challenges, and make data-informed decisions.
Strategy Knowledge: General knowledge of the firm's investment strategies, products, and portfolio construction methodologies.
Software Proficiency: Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel PowerPoint, and CoPilot.

WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY? This position is responsible for performing as a strategic financial business partner with one or more Lines of Business (LOBs) and defining, building, and leading the financial strategic direction of their respective LOBs consistent with the Bank's objectives.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
* Prepare the annual budget for the LOBs, ensuring goals are in line with Bank objectives. Maintain budget models and ensure assumptions are reasonable, accurate, and have integrity. Prepare budget presentations and present results to executive management.
* Prepare quarterly forecasts and participate in the quarterly review process with executive management. Review quantitative and qualitative details to ensure they are accurate and rational; ensure LOB forecasts and objectives are within acceptable guidelines to compliment the Bank's performance expectations.
* Prepare and review monthly management reporting, including financials and any other analytics appropriate for the LOBs. Ensure financials are accurate and distributed in a timely manner. Provide analytics and commentary to the LOB executives, highlighting material trends, variances, and other pertinent findings.
* Prepare business cases for talent acquisitions, office openings/closures, product introductions/eliminations, and other ad hoc purposes, and make recommendations based on the impact to the LOB's and Bank's profitability.
* Meet with assigned division executive(s) regularly to keep current with challenges, opportunities, and potential changes. Continually look for ways to increase revenue and reduce expenses by reviewing division analytics regularly.
* Conducts special financial projects and participates in various task forces and committees as required by senior management.
* Develop and implement ideas and strategies to improve processes and communication.
* Supervise workflow and provide expertise and direction to support staff as needed.
* Complies fully with all Bank policies and procedures, as well as all regulatory requirements.
* Completes all required training.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
*Required Qualifications**
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
* Minimum 2 years of experience working for a financial institution
* Minimum 3 years of experience in a financial management role
*Additional Qualifications*
* A CFA, CPA, or MBA is highly desirable.
* Excellent managerial, organizational, analytical, and project management skills required.
* Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
* Ability to build positive relationships both within the Finance Division and throughout the Bank; work cooperatively with members of the Executive Committee and the Strategy and Planning Committee.
* Must be capable of establishing professional expertise through integrity, dedication, and strategic counsel.
* Must be capable of inspiring confidence and respect in staff and motivate colleagues to achieve Finance Division and company goals.
* Must be able to manage and influence a large number of indirect reports without having authority.
* Excellent Microsoft Office skills (e.g., Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, OneNote) required.
* Requires strong knowledge of financial analysis techniques and generally accepted accounting principles and procedures, as well as experience in the use of financial/accounting related reporting systems (e.g. CONTROL, Hyperion, Cognos, etc.) and the preparation and presentation of managerial reporting.
