Account Advisor
to perform the associated duties which support and accomplish the accreditation process for all accreditation programs. This person will educate customers on the flexibility and capabilities of ACHC, in order to develop customer relationships that promote retention and loyalty. Responsibilities include:
Provides Customer Service support to all clients from first point of inquiry through all phases of the accreditation process for all programs.
Processes accreditation documents through all phases of the process within established time frames listed in this position description and in accordance with established policies and related Work Instructions.
Scores data collection documents and develops clear, concise summary of findings, including appropriate recommendations to customers.
Reads and understands all program standards and accreditation policies and procedures.
Reviews and recommends changes to department policies and associated control documents to maintain the integrity of departmental processes.
Revises policies and control documents, as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Minimum two-year Associates Degree (Bachelors preferred) in a business related field with three years of relevant work experience in a business setting, or a high school education with a minimum of five years of relevant work experience in a business setting.
Prior Customer Service experience required, with proven success in building and maintaining positive working relationships.
Experience working with computer systems with proficient use of database and other office system programs; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Strong oral and written communication skills a must, as are attention to detail and organizational skills.
This position is located in Cary, NC with hybrid remote-working privileges. Compensation includes base salary + bonus.

Who You Are:
Individual will possess knowledge and experience to support Versar Global Solutions' team performance on assigned United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Recurring Maintenance and Minor Repair (RMMR) task orders. This position work in the Project Management Office (PMO) for the Deputy Program Manager and is responsible for the overall approach for performing recurring maintenance activities required by the task order. What You'll Do:
Create, monitor, and analyze project schedules in accordance with contract requirements. Manage contract master schedules as well as the three-week look ahead schedules, which encompass maintenance, repair work, quality, and safety inspections.
Review RM reports and deficiency lists for completeness, quality, accuracy, and contract compliance. Route documents for corrections and/or signatures through multiple entities, ensuring timelines required by the contract are met. Upload approved report versions into the USACE Resident Management System (RMS).
Coordinate notification of maintenance visits with project management and ensure documentation into computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
Coordinate with field personnel to ensure accurate and updated FMPs.
Document inspection dates and RM report submission and approval dates, among others.
Create/update CMMS for Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) site details, maintenance schedules, and repair work schedules if needed.
Track, analyze, and report information appropriately to allow project management team to manage their projects and evaluate weekly reports.
File and manage cloud-based programs and/or share drive files with RM reports and documentation.

Review/approve invoices related to RM events and repair work for contract compliance, accuracy, and quality.
Attend project update meetings, ensuring accurate lists and statuses for work assigned.
Conduct/support initial site visits for equipment inventorying as well as visits to USACE HQ for end-of-year reviews, if needed.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Forensic Scientist in the Toxicology section performs timely and accurate toxicology analyses for the Houston Forensic Science Center. S/he will independently perform routine analytical tests of biological specimens in human performance toxicology cases, prepare reports on findings for use in the criminal justice system, and provide court testimony on test results. Specific duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Performs routine to complex chemical analysis of human biological specimens using chemical and instrumental methodologies to detect and quantify alcohol and drugs in biological matrices and liquid.
Prepares accurate and precise notes and technical reports.
Maintains and calibrates scientific instruments and follows quality control measures to ensure instruments meet required performance standards.
Reviews work of other scientists and conducts administrative and technical review of casework.
Performs experiments independently to troubleshoot analytical issues and to develop and validate analytical methods as needed.
Participates in revision of standard operating procedures.
Trains other Forensic Scientists on analytical procedures and laboratory practice.
Provides technical assistance to police officers, members of the district attorney's office, and other members of law enforcement agencies, and the criminal justice community.

MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
The position requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Toxicology. Master's degree is strongly preferred. Certification by the American Board of Forensic Toxicology is preferred. College-level Statistics is required. College coursework should meet the education requirement for the Texas Forensic Science Commission Toxicologist (Interpretive) license as stated in the Texas Administrative Code, Title 37, Part 15, Chapter 651, Subchapter C, Rule §651.207.
Ability to gain a Toxicologist (Interpretative) license by the Texas Forensic Science Commission will be required upon hire.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of one year of progressive work experience in a toxicology laboratory using advanced equipment and instrumentation for analysis. A Master's degree may be considered in lieu of experience. Forensic experience is strongly preferred as well proven experience presenting testimony in a court of law as an expert witness.
Experience in operating liquid chromatography and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry systems is strongly preferred.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENT
Working knowledge and experience with a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
Proven experience with analysis of volatiles and drugs in biological specimens is required.

Our Private Sector Business Unit, Power Market Sector has an immediate opening for a motivated, achievement-oriented entry to mid-level Environmental Professional with compliance and permitting, and client coordination experience in the Energy/Power Sector to join our growing team. The successful candidate should have a strong knowledge base in the application of regulations, understanding of local, state, and federal compliance requirements, regulatory experience with project delivery and proposal development skills, and ability to work collaboratively in teams (virtually and in-person). This opportunity will allow candidate to build their career and complete challenging and meaningful work.
Detailed Description:
This role will provide a high level of support for ongoing and new projects addressing environmental concerns of private sector projects, specifically in the Energy/Power Sector. We are seeking a candidate with experience with conducting wetland/water delineations, environmental permitting and regulatory compliance, working on projects including Clean Water Act (402, 404, 401, 316) permitting, federal/state/local stormwater permitting, permit compliance activities, oversight of water quality, compliance with stormwater and best management practices, endangered species, cultural resources, land use planning, and supporting technical studies. Experience conducting environmental site assessments (in accordance with ASTM E-1527-21 standard) and/or audits is also a plus.
Our ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills, be highly organized and capable of working in a diverse team environment and handling multiple tasks with competing priorities.
Job Responsibilities Expectations:
* Drive health and safety practices throughout all aspects of work;
* Perform field investigations of projects sites including wetland and stream delineations with functional assessments according to applicable methodologies, aquatic and environmental assessments, environmental sampling (i.e., soil, surface water, groundwater, etc.), and GPS/mobile data collection;
* Perform environmental inspections and other site inspections, record and convey field observations accurately, communicate observations with contractors, clients, and regulatory parties;
* Assist with the preparation of technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables;
* Coordinate with project managers, client service managers, and other project personnel from other disciplines;
* Successfully manage and deliver tasks/projects on time, on budget, and with high quality;
* Manage and execute work on compliance and permitting for industrial, commercial and/or retail facilities including program planning and development, permitting, and reporting;
* Execute activities on small to large projects for federal, state, or local environmental permitting;
* Perform work in a team environment or work independently with multiple project budgets and deadlines simultaneously;
* Participate in improving company resources and tools to improve production and efficiency;
* Implement BC's quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) process; and
* Support business development pursuits related to client opportunities.
Desired Skills and Experience:
* B.S. or M.S. degree in natural resources, environmental science, biology, ecology, or related science.
* Minimum two years of professional or academic experience in the ecological and water resources field.
* Working knowledge of aquatic systems for physical and biological assessments or investigations.
* Working knowledge of ArcGIS.
* Experience working within the Power sector (natural gas, electric, renewable energy, etc)
* Excellent technical writing and communications skills.
* Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook).
* Ability to delineate wetlands and other waters using the appropriate regional supplements to the USACE Wetland Delineation Manual.
* Related professional experience with environmental permitting including, but not limited to, USACE, EPA, State Environmental Departments (i.e., Illinois Department of Natural Resources, Virginia Department of Environmental Quality, or Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality), local county, parish, and municipal agencies.
* Project experience facilitating and working with regulators and clients on projects associated with compliance and permitting.
* Project management skills including attention to health and safety; program delivery strategy development and execution by collaborating with a team of project managers and staff; and implementation of QA/QC
* Ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple tasks concurrently
* Working knowledge of erosion and sediment control permits and best management practices (BMPs).
* Proficiency with GPS technology or other mobile data collection (Trimble, GNSS Receivers, tablets, ArcMap, etc.) preferred.
* Current OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification preferred, but not required.
* State-specific wetland certifications and erosion and sediment control certifications preferred, but not required.
* Field assignments require ability to walk field sites of varying size that may have areas of uneven, muddy, and/or rocky ground to perform inspections, collect samples and take photographs.
* Valid driver's license, and good driving record required; and
* Periodic travel with field work is anticipated.
Salary Range: The anticipated starting pay range for this position is based on the employee's primary work location and may be more or less depending upon skills, experience, and education. These ranges may be modified in the future.
Location A: $72,000 - $98,000
Location B: $79,000 - $108,000
Location C: $87,000 - $118,000
