Healthcare and retirement benefits are good with the City of Detroit
In my experience, the cons of working at City of Detroit is having to work in the downtown area were parking is very expensive.
I felt the pros of working at the City of Detroit were the opportunity to work with the community.
My comments are not very positive regarding the leadership.
I would improve the company culture by motivating employees to have more control over how they complete their work, forcusing on more staff independence and reducing micro-managing.
I prepared for an interview by researching the company, reviewing my resume, and focusing on my positive attributes.
In my experience, compensation at City of Detroit compare to the industry average is pretty good.
Diverse demographics is well represented at the City of Detroit, which I found to be a plus.
Personally, the most fulfilling thing about working at the City of Detroit is working with good people who are very hard working and working as a team to get the job done.
