Purpose: In this role, you will act as the Weatherization Coordinator/Analyst, reporting to the Deputy Director of BCAEO and collaborating with the MiTEC Technical Manager to oversee weatherization support activities. Duties and Responsibilities:
Collecting, analyzing and maintaining data from Community Action Agencies overseeing the Weatherization Assistance Program.
Managing the electronic processing of data from multiple sources (databases, excel files, etc.), reviewing and updating weatherization reports, and assisting on-site as needed to collect and record data including but not limited to real-time video capture for monitoring/training/testing purposes. Providing support for the Weatherization team, including working with weatherization teams, weatherization managers, weatherization construction trades professionals, weatherization students, ensuring goals are met and documented, supporting data and technical teams to create and validate reports, and ensuring reporting deadlines are met.
Actively work towards technical certifications as outlined by supervisor as needed.
Frequently performs duties under stressful conditions, i.e., heavy workloads, tight deadlines, and confidential materials with some travel at certain times of the year depending on job assignments.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Education: High School Diploma required.
Experience: Course work in Microsoft Word and Excel, Internet processing, two to three years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in weatherization, building trades, home improvement activities, construction, or have interest in building trades. Experience in maintaining data, word processing, editing, composing correspondence, planning, organizing, and project management work, spreadsheet, database, desktop publishing, and/or presentation software will be helpful.

Purpose: This position is part of a dynamic weatherization training center team that provides superior learning opportunities to professionals in the home performance, residential, and construction energy efficiency industries. MiTEC provides students with in-person classroom training, field training, and online training opportunities. The Michigan Training and Education Center (MiTEC) will provide technical expert instruction and assistance to Weatherization professionals, home professionals, builders, contractors, developers, architects, and others. The MiTEC will focus on building science coursework to support the Weatherization Assistance Program's (WAP) comprehensive technical trainings and certifications outlined in the Quality Work Plan that establishes a benchmark for quality home energy upgrades, released by U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). Maintain a course catalog, send student reminders via phone calls and text messages as well as email, update the online Learning Management System (LMS), and SharePoint.
Maintain documents including course listings, instructor feedback and organize student files.
Track student enrollment, cancelations, attendance, evaluations, instructor feedback, test scores and certification progression.
Ensure all training records for courses, instructors, and students are complete and accurate using online learning management system, SharePoint, and other internal databases for record keeping and reporting.
Assist with the preparation and scheduling of students for training as well as for their career path.
Assist the MiTEC Director with maintaining information for annual IREC reporting. This assistance will include tracking timelines, gathering needed information, preparing, and submitting documents and ensuring all reporting timelines are met.

A Bachelor's degree is required, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience in criminal justice, substance abuse, mental health, probation, child welfare, or other court settings. Possession of a valid Michigan driver's license with acceptable driving record. Demonstrated ability to work independently and simultaneously handle multiple tasks of varying degrees of difficulty. Ability to appropriately respond to crisis situations. Proficiency with standard office applications.
SUPERVISION:
Work is performed under the general direction of the District Court Administrator.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop I&C system designs for the water and wastewater industry with the potential for limited Human Machine Interface (HMI) and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) programming/configuration work.
Write technical memoranda
Develop Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), control system architecture drawings, and installation details
Prepare instrumentation and control system specifications
Prepare cost estimates for projects
Review & approve documentation developed by contractors
Conduct factory testing, field acceptance testing, and startup of I&C systems.
Required Qualifications:
10-20 years of Instrumentation and Controls Design experience. More or less experience will be considered.
Professional Engineering (PE) license
Working knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Life Safety Codes, and other related Codes and Standards are required.
Good verbal, writing, and interpersonal skills are required for coordination with other disciplines, contractors, and clients.
Must know how to use AutoCAD or AutoCAD Plant 3D or be willing to learn.
Preferred Qualifications:
Electrical experience is desired.
Control system software configuration/programming capability desired.
Experience with AutoCAD is desired.
