In 1921 the residents rejected for a second time an attempt by the City of Columbus to annex the suburbs of Grandview and Marble Cliff.

1924

The Grandview Heights Public Library was established in 1924.

1925

They were courted in 1925 to rejoin Grandview but chose to stay independent.

1994

The last military aircraft departed Richards-Gebaur on 12 June 1994.

2015

Grandview is also the home of a National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration office, the first building to open in Southpointe Business Park in 2015.

2018

Grandview’s industrial area also made headlines in 2018 for landing the first Opportunity Zone investment in the Kansas City metro area.
