Anticipated Hiring Ranges Level I $15.14 - $17.04 Hourly Level II $16.69 - 18.78 Hourly Natural Areas & Trails (NAT) division, within the City's Culture, Parks and Recreation Department manages over 2,000 acres of natural areas and the city's 40-mile trail system including eleven miles of the regional Poudre River Trail. This growing program is seeking a passionate, creative, and motivated applicant to join the team as a Seasonal Groundskeeper, 6-month term, to strive toward NAT's vision of a community connected to nature.
This position will act under the supervision of the NAT field staff and performs natural resource management and maintenance operations to restore and maintain the ecological health of the City's natural areas. The position also supports the implementation of plans relating to all aspects of effective resource management and enhancement of Natural Area properties.
The successful applicant will be provided with all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) and training required for this position.
HOURS/SCHEDULE
Typical Schedule: 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Monday-Friday
Scheduling may include some early-mornings, evenings, weekends & holidays.

Level 1

* Operates two stroke engine tools including string trimmers, hand and backpack blowers.
* Miscellaneous tasks including raking or blowing debris, pulling weeds in landscape beds and mulched trail heads.
* Vegetation management of non-turf, off-trail landscapes in natural areas and along trails including mowing, string trimming, and other mechanical vegetation management tools for native and non-native/noxious species.
* Empties trash daily throughout assigned facilities, including restrooms, port-a-lets, and shelters.
* Ability and willingness to assist users with questions about facilities operations, hours, and general regulations.
* Follow workplace safety rules at all times.
* Maintains and utilizes City-provided PPE when conducting activities where the employee is exposed to risks above those encountered in a traditional office setting.

* Utilizes Integrated Pest Management (IPM) to effectively manage weed species through chemical, mechanical, cultural, and biological methods.
* Applies chemicals in an accurate and safe manner using ATV, truck mounted boom, backpack, and hand sprayers.
* Assists in proper loading and mixing of chemicals into equipment.
* Assists in seeding and planting projects including site and soil prep.
* Assists in vegetation mapping/surveys, site assessments and other like restoration monitoring projects.

Processes Police reports, arrests, citations, motor vehicle accidents, and other related documents to include data-entry, electronic scanning and linking of documents in the Records Management System (RMS); reviews all police reports for completeness and accuracy and ensures crime coding is in compliance with the National Incident Based Reporting System (NIBRS) requirements as determined by CBI and FBI; distributes reports for use in criminal prosecution.
Ensures that information is provided to department members and other law enforcement and government agencies as needed. Provides research assistance in criminal investigations to Officers and Detectives, and develops leads from minimal information. Utilizes national, state, local and other law enforcement databases to make inquiries, and identify linkages.
Assists the public with a variety of information requests and police service needs to include, release of police reports in compliance with CCJRA and internal procedures; process background checks; provide fingerprinting services; process and release impounded vehicles; release, process, and title abandoned and/or towed vehicles; accepts payments and issues receipts. Summary: Instructs aqua fitness classes at the City's aquatic facilities. Classes vary from pre/post-natal water fitness, arthritis, generalized water fitness and deep-water fitness.

The Wellness Program Intern will work with the Wellness Team to implement City-wide wellness programming. Interns will engage in needs assessments; program development and program implementation. Interns will assist with administrative roles associated with the development and implementation of our City-wide Wellness Program. Interns will also help maintain the internal Wellness website on SharePoint, Wellness e-newsletters, and various other communication tools. Summary:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Enforces the City's adopted construction codes including, but not limited to building, plumbing, mechanical, energy and electrical. This includes the following:
* Inspects all aspects and phases of building construction including structural, mechanical, electrical, energy and plumbing to ensure compliance with code and ordinance provisions and approved construction documents and site plans.
* Reviews for compliance and subsequent approval, those portions of submitted permit applications and construction documents relating to his/her specific area of expertise for conformity with City-adopted construction codes.
* Notifies permit applicants, contractors, and homeowners of code and ordinance violations relating to plan review and construction activities. Re-reviews plans and re-inspects construction work to ensure violations have been rectified.

The City of Fort Collins City Attorney's Office is hiring a full-time Assistant City Attorney II or Senior Assistant City Attorney. Summary:
Under general supervision, the Behavioral Health Crisis Response Clinician responds with police or other Behavioral Health Crisis Response Team staff to 911 or police non-emergency line calls with a behavioral health component. The clinicians provide crisis intervention, assessment, de-escalation, and referral to services. They are part of the City of Boulder's Behavioral Health Crisis Response Team (BHCRT), which provides both co-response with Boulder Police Department and alternative response with other BHCRT staff. Clinicians co-respond on calls for service that involve more dynamic situations, while an alternative response can occur for lower acuity calls.

Provides in-person response to situations involving behavioral health concerns or crisis in a variety of community settings via Boulder Police & Fire dispatch, including homes, businesses, street corners, parks, congregate living facilities, and shelters.
Conducts clinical interventions, including mental status exams, suicide and risk assessments to address presenting crisis and determine if people in distress meet criteria for involuntary treatment. Prepares mental health holds and other legal documents as needed.
Makes appropriate level of care decisions on scene and communicates, collaborates, and creates relationships with multiple collateral agencies, including schools, hospitals, family members and significant others to facilitate referrals for needed community-based services and treatment.
Provides telephone or in person follow ups with community members in order to connect them to behavioral health care and other resources in the community.
Participates in clinical supervision and team meetings according to team policies.
Documents all contacts according to team policies.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to communicate ideas clearly in written or spoken form, particularly as it applies to documentation, care coordination, and in crisis situations. Completes work in a timely and consistent manner in accordance with team policies.
