Operates equipment within skillset as assigned by Foreman.
As directed, collects water and/or wastewater samples for various analyses.
Maintains logs and records of maintenance and repair work performed, and of supplies and materials requisitioned and consumed.
Performs data entry to input pertinent information into the computer network system. Periodically checks inboxes, including email, CMMS work order, or others as assigned.
May be required to generate various computer reports and/or work orders.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in maintenance best practices and procedures that support the duties, responsibilities, and skill sets required of an Industrial Mechanic. This position deals with the maintenance of water, wastewater and reclaimed water equipment such as, but not limited to the following: submersible pumps, dry pit pumps, high head pressure mobile pumps, vertical turbine pumps, split case pumps, progressive cavity pumps, peristaltic pumps, rotary lobe blowers, centrifuges, conveyors, valves, piping, gearboxes, air systems, gas compressors, gas service turbine generators, grit chambers or manual bar screens and chemical systems such as those used in treating H2S gases, water treatment, and wastewater treatment within Water Resources Department systems and Plant Facilities. About the Role
