DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The successful candidate will serve as a full-stack .NET Application Developer responsible for designing, building, maintaining, and deploying secure, high-performance web applications, APIs, and reporting solutions while also supporting desktop and hybrid applications. This role involves full-stack development and integration with third-party systems to support Municipal Court operations. The ideal candidate will have expertise in .NET technologies, Visual Studio, Entity Framework, SQL, ASP.NET, MVC, legacy desktop frameworks (WinForms), and modern DevOps practices. This role requires close coordination with public safety stakeholders and other HITS divisions to ensure seamless integration and compliance with standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, document, build, and maintain custom applications across web and desktop platforms.
* Troubleshoot, triage, and resolve production incidents promptly.
* Manage user administration, access controls, and permissions.
* Perform regular software upgrades and Windows server maintenance.
* Contribute to application modernization initiatives and strategic projects.
* Collaborate with vendors and internal teams for smooth integration.
* Provide backup support across team functions and mentor junior developers.
* Conduct code reviews to uphold coding standards and architectural quality.
* Implement secure coding practices and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
* Respond to and fulfill daily report requests under the Public Information Act (PIA), ensuring compliance and maintaining expected SLAs.
* Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, SSRS and other similar tools.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Implements, maintains, and operates data protection and system disaster recover solution; ensures data and systems are backed up, and network environments are secure by performing security monitoring, vulnerability scanning and remediation.
3. Performs asset life cycle management for network equipment and software. Assists in the maintenance and operation of a Data Center; implements and manages cabinet, cabling, and power configurations.
4. Serves as technical expert on projects, interacts with project teams, vendors, and other agencies to gather requirements; researches and recommends network environment solutions; provides technical guidance for solutions, coordinates equipment deployment and participates in systems installation, configuration, and testing.
