The Street Maintenance Worker Rapid Responder position operates multiple types of motorized equipment such as, various-sized dump trucks, and other specialized equipment. This position performs a variety of manual labor tasks associated with street and storm sewer maintenance, operation of large and small vehicles, and power equipment. Assignment responsibilities may involve tasks associated with asphalt, concrete, drainage, and right-of- way maintenance. This assignment differs from the base classification in the degree of independence allowed and the pressing conditions under which work is performed. Please note this is a night shift position.
