Nature of Work
This is a semi-skilled position in the Environmental Services Division of the Public Works Department responsible for clean, safe, and organized environment throughout the facility. Work involves manual labor in performing cleaning, maintenance, and groundskeeping duties in a hybrid office/industrial setting. This role supports plant operations by ensuring work areas, restrooms, break rooms, and common spaces meet cleanliness and safety standards. Work is performed under general supervision and is coordinated with contractual cleaning services as necessary.
The 2025 starting rate of pay is $24.13 per hour with advancement to $31.31 per hour. Once the contract has settled the 2026 rate will be available.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Perform general facility cleaning

* Remove brush and weeds; prune shrubs within landscaped beds to promote healthy growth and appearance.
* Clear snow and ice from sidewalks using appropriate equipment such as snow shovels and snow blowers to ensure safe access. May also require adding a pretreatment product to aid in removal efficiency.
* Provide timely and customer-service oriented response to a variety of calls for service
* Prepare conference and training rooms for scheduled events by rearranging furniture, setting up partition walls, and ensuring all necessary equipment and materials are in place.
* Pick up and deliver documents and packages, between City offices and local vendors.
* Provide guidance and recommendations to the Maintenance Supervisor on matters within area of expertise.

Nature of Work
This position involves skilled inspection work and related duties to insure and maintain compliance with State Building Code and City ordinances in the remodeling and maintenance of existing structures or the construction of new residential or commercial properties. Nature of Work
This position involves skilled inspection work and related duties to insure and maintain compliance with State Building Code and City ordinances in the remodeling and maintenance of existing structures or the construction of new residential or commercial properties. Responsibilities include the performance of both field and office work in carrying out assigned duties to ensure neighborhood vibrancy through compliance with legally established specifications and requirements and performing other related duties as required. Positions at this level may be specialized in one of the building construction trade areas but may be trained and required to perform inspections of a minor nature in any trade specialty area. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Coordinate the inspection process within the department and with other state and local agencies prior to issuance of a state or local license.
* Utilize automated software programs to enter and query inspection results, obtain permit information and create reports necessary to complete routine inspection duties, as well as performing electronic plan review. Reviews and electronically files special inspection reports, contractor deviation reports, material testing reports and affidavits related to the project construction.

Nature of Work
This position is responsible for developing, implementing and supporting software application systems. Responsibilities include business process analysis; project management; software application design, implementation and support; data analysis and reporting.
Pay
The 2025 starting salary range is $82,338 to $96,868 with advancement to $121,086.

Education and Experience

An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job may also be considered.

Responsibilities
The Park Boundary Technician supports the division by evaluating, verifying, and resolving parks and open-space issues through conducting surveys and communicating with residents. The primary position responsibilities and areas of impact are:
* Evaluates City Park and open space/private property interface boundaries. Reviews lot surveys and utilizes surveying and mobile GIS equipment, including Field Maps and Trimble products, to determine boundaries.
* Compiles information and communicates City Park and open space property adjustments to supervisor. Follows guidelines for rectifying violation issues that will be conducive for property owner and the City.
* Provides information and consults with residents regarding public-private property interfaces related to park and open-space. Conducts violation follow-up visits.
