Rome Grinding Solutions is hiring a driven, self-directed Territory Sales Manager to own and grow a territory selling industrial food processing equipment. This role is for someone who likes building relationships, opening doors, and following through. You will be supported by responsive quoting, technical expertise, and a team that takes pride in delivering on commitments.

The Role
New Business Growth (about 50%): Identify and pursue processors in protein and prepared foods. Build pipeline through outreach, referrals, trade shows, and on-site visits.
Existing Account Management (about 50%): Strengthen relationships, stay close to the plant, and help customers solve problems.
Full Sales Cycle Ownership: From first conversation to plant walk-through to proposal and close, you lead the process and keep CRM notes accurate and current.
Travel: Approximately 50% travel, including plant visits and occasional trade shows, plus periodic time in Sheldon for training and coordination.

Position Purpose:
The Shred-it Route Driver is responsible for providing industry-leading levels of service to clients while taking care of all customer document destruction needs, including transporting supplies and materials, safely and in accordance with company policy and all local and federal laws. This involves loading and unloading the delivery vehicle and ensuring that all cargo is safely secured before transport.
Key Job Activities:
• Performs onsite/offsite document destruction of confidential information.
• Performs pre/post-trip checks, and driver check-in on assigned truck, prior to leaving or closing for the day.
• Reports maintenance issues to Transportation/Dispatcher for follow-up.
• Operates company equipment in a safe and efficient manner in an effort to minimize the risk of injury and equipment damage.
• Complies with all local, state and federal laws governing driver fitness and hours of service.
• Complete and maintain DOT logs when applicable.
• Maintains a high level of security when emptying consoles and/or collection totes by ensuring all documents are retrieved and the consoles/containers are securely locked.
• Services accounts using a hand-held device, ensuring console/containers are barcoded, locations are up to date, and the accuracy of type and quantity of consoles/containers.
• Manages assigned routes ensuring customers' confidential material collected and serviced in a timely and accurate manner.
• Handles and responds to all customer problems and inquiries expediently and in the best interest of both the customer and Shred-it.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
Experience:
• 3+ years of experience, preferably in driving straight/box trucks and route management.
• Current driver's license (Class D or above) with an excellent driving record.
• May require mandatory immunizations and credentialing based on customer requirements.
• Stericycle welcomes non-native English speakers, as long as drivers can read and speak English sufficiently to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records as required by federal regulation.

JOB SUMMARY
This is a non-management position within the Public Safety Communications Center of the Marion Police Department. A Communications Operator serves the community by answering emergency and routine calls via phone, radio, or other devices and gathers essential information from callers; enters the call information into the computer-aided dispatch (CAD) system and dispatches the appropriate first responders to the scene as needed. The operator provides dispatch and communication support services for police, fire, EMS, and can require the coordination of other related service agencies during joint events. Work is performed in accordance with federal and state laws as well as departmental regulations, policies, and routines. This position has 3 shifts: Day Shift - 6 am - 2 pm; Evening Shift - 2 pm - 10 pm; and Overnight Shift 10 pm - 6 am. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/WORK PERFORMED

Receive all 911 and routine line phone calls, as well as the police department administrative phone calls by operating a multi-line telephone console system including telecommunications device for the deaf (TDD) or hearing-impaired.

Qualifications

General Medical Requirements: As determined by OPM the duties of this position require moderate to arduous physical exertion involving walking and standing, use of firearms, and exposure to inclement weather. * Recruitment Incentive: Applicants may be eligible for a $40,000 recruitment incentive in accordance with regulatory requirements. The first installment of $15,000 will be paid following successful completion of Secret Service Criminal Investigator training. A second installment of $10,000 will be paid following one year of service post training and an acceptable performance rating. The final installment of $15,000 will be paid after a third year of service post training and an acceptable performance rating. Provision of these payments require the execution of a three-year Continued Service Agreement (CSA) with the agency. Applicants may be offered to remain year-round on a 10-30 hour per week basis.* GENERAL SUMMARY: This in-depth internship program meets the needs of most college internship programs, and provides the Dubuque Police Department with an opportunity to evaluate the applicants' potential as a police officer. Since its inception in 2011, over 60% of CRO's have gone on to become Dubuque Police Officers.
Under direction and supervision of the Staff Services Captain and Patrol Division Commanders a Community Resource Officer (CRO) will work with a variety of entities to accomplish proactive and problem-solving community policing objectives; assist sworn and civilian employees of the Dubuque Police Department in their daily duties; and get exposure to a variety of law enforcement related duties and training.
The ideal candidate will possess the ability to follow a management philosophy that is input oriented and values problem solving and the development of partnerships; and desires to be part of an organization that values service, people, integrity, responsibility, innovation and teamwork.
DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE CLASS: Designed to give participants experience with all aspects of the department, the work involves an element of personal danger and the need to use proactive, problem solving skills. The employee often acts without direct supervision and exercises independent judgment in meeting emergencies, assessing problems, and determining solutions or appropriate courses of action. Assignments may include work at the law enforcement center on special tasks calling upon specialized abilities and knowledge. Specific work assignments and special instructions are received from the Staff Services and/or Patrol Commanders who assess work performance through reports, personal inspection and discussion.

Grade level eligibility and salaries vary depending upon background, including experience and education, and duty location of the opportunity. Qualifications:
You qualify for the GS-9 grade level in one of the following ways: experience, education, or a combination of both.
Experience: A minimum of one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level that includes:

Enforcing the laws and regulations relating to importing, exporting, and/or international shipping to and from the United States.
