Meets and directs incoming aircraft, refueling aircraft, towing aircraft, bookkeeping, grounds keeping, equipment operation, equipment maintenance, and building maintenance. Ensures the safety and effectiveness of pilots, passengers, and airport
operations.
Work is reviewed by the Airport Manager with little direct observation.
When no Manager is on duty, employee may be in charge.
Major Responsibilities:
* Meets all transient aircraft, guides the aircraft safely to a parking
spot, secures the aircraft
with chocks and\or tie downs, takes fuel orders, and tows aircraft in and out of
hangars.
* Refuels all types of aircraft, hooks up aircraft to ground power, and
assists in GPU starts.
* Performs daily and monthly fuel quality tests, checks inbound fuel for
proper type quality and
quantity.
* Maintains fueling equipment and dispensing oil. Maintains monthly
inventory of supplies. Logs
all sales, runway operations, and various other items. Answers incoming calls
for service.
* Maintains, mows, edges, sprays grass areas, assists in the repair and
maintenance of runway and
lighting systems, maintenance of weather station and may operate various pieces
of small and heavy
equipment. May perform other preventive maintenance on equipment and assist with
inventory of
equipment and maintenance supplies.
* Performs airport custodial work such as F.O.D (Foreign object debris)
checks, picks up trash,
cleans terminal and operating sweeper; unlocks terminal at opening and secures
the terminal
building at closing and may assist with security as needed.
* Operates base station UNICOM radio - relays advisory information to
incoming and departing aircraft.
* Creates and maintains customer accounts; maintains and balances cash
drawer.
* Provides on call\after hours service to customers
* Provides support needed for special events at the airport or elsewhere.
* Performs other duties as assigned, including assisting other departments
as required.
Minimum Qualifications & Required Knowledge:
* High school graduate or GED
* Must have an Oklahoma Class D Driver's License
* Must be bondable
* Aviation experience is preferred.
* Basic computers and data entry.
* Knowledge of basic principles used to safely operate refueling stations
* Knowledge and skill in the use of lawn equipment and minor hand tools
* Knowledge of a professional computer and associated software packages
utilized within the
department
* Skill in oral and written communication
* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating

Physical Agility Test (PAT)
All applicants are required to undergo a PAT regardless of current military or

Investigation Questionnaire to be completed by a designated date and time.

Oral Board
Each candidate's BIQ is reviewed to verify all minimum requirements have been
met before an Oral Board is scheduled. Oral Boards may be limited to the top
agility performers should the candidate pool exceed the ability to conduct
interviews within a two-day timeframe.
Police Officer Screening and Selection Examination (POSSE)
The POSSE is required after all minimum requirements have been completed and
verified. POSSE is a written equivalency test required for CLEET entry. Any
candidate not already CLEET-certified will be required to schedule and pass the
POSSE before an official offer of employment is made. The POSSE fee is at the
candidates' expense. If an official offer of employment is made to the
candidate, the POSSE fee will be reimbursed.
Minimum Requirements
Candidate must be between the ages of 21 and 45, unless a current
participant in the Oklahoma Police Pension system.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Valid Oklahoma Driver's License at time of hire which has not been suspended
or revoked in the past five (5) years and no more than three (3) or more moving
violations in the past three (3) years.
Candidate must not have been convicted of domestic abuse; and must not be
currently listed as a defendant on a Protective Order or defendant on Final
Order of Protection.
Candidate must not have been convicted of a felony crime or have any pending
criminal actions.

General Purpose:
Under the general supervision of Rec Center Director and is responsible for leading safe and beneficial group exercise classes.
Essential Functions:
Teach safe, organized, and quality classes, beginning and ending on time, in accordance with what is scheduled, and in consideration of those participating.
Maintain current instructor and CPR certifications.
Understand the procedures to be followed in the event of any injury or emergency.
Have a basic understanding of exercise physiology and make a dedicated effort to expand knowledge and understanding of latest trends and findings in the fields of fitness and exercise science.
Present proof of participation and completion of at least one workshop per year in addition to the Recreation Center Certification Workshop.
Respect and endeavor to maintain equipment by using properly, cleaning as instructed, and returning to designated storage area following class. Dust mop floor as necessary upon conclusion of classes.
Dress appropriately. Clothing and appearance should be neat and clean.
Arrange for a substitute if unable to instruct scheduled class and notify Aerobics Coordinator of such arrangement.
Maintain and promote a fit and healthy lifestyle and demonstrate a positive attitude.
Understand the procedures, rules, and responsibilities specific to the Claremore Super Recreation Center.
Promote and utilize the Claremore Super Recreation Center, support its activities, and respect fellow employees.
Performs all other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
Must be insurable by the City's insurance company
Tools and Equipment:
Lifesaving equipment, audio system, and a variety of exercise equipment used in a class setting.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to lead physically challenging group exercise classes which may include aerobics, step aerobics, plyometric, muscular strength, weight training, endurance training, and/or flexibility exercises.
Work Environment:
The noise level in the work environment is moderately noisy.

General Purpose:
Under the general supervision of the City Engineer and performs routine and complex technical engineering related work for environmental, water, sewer, street, and other public works projects and programs. Assists an Engineer in application of principles, methods, and techniques of civil engineering technology.
Essential Functions:
Drafts detailed dimensional drawings such as those needed for street, water, sewer, drainage, and other utility plans, systems and projects.
Reviews project specifications and confers with City Engineer concerning assistance required such as plan preparation, acceptance testing, evaluation of field conditions, design changes, and reports.
Observes material testing and analysis.
Drafts and calculates field notes to document quantities, alignment, grade and locations according to project plans or to document monthly and final progress estimates.
Surveys project sites to obtain and analyze topographical details of sites.
Writes legal descriptions for dedications, annexations, local improvement districts, easements or condemnations.
Researches records, maps and other data to obtain such typical engineering data such as location of sewer stubs, water mains, hydrants, easements and special property assessments.
Calculates dimensions, profile specifications, and quantities of materials such as pipe, concrete, and asphalt.
Inspects construction site to determine conformance of site to design specifications.
Assists City Engineer to ensure that construction and repair of transportation, water or wastewater systems meet control requirements.
Assists in the preparation of sanitary sewer, water, storm drainage, and street system maps, data bases, and comprehensive plans.
Assists in the maintenance of engineering and infrastructure records.Prepares and drafts as-built plans for street, water, sewer or light systems.
Assists in the evaluation of transportation and traffic impacts of development proposals, permits, plats, etc.
Assists the City Engineer in preparing traffic, utility and other studies and reports.
Assists in intersection signal and channelization design.
Performs a variety of office related functions, including preparing correspondence, maps, presentation materials, reproducing field notes, printing materials, answering phones and responding to inquiries from contractors, developers, property owners, staff and the general public.
Serves as a drafter, by making final sketch of proposed drawings, checking dimension of parts, materials to be used, relation of one part to another and relation of various parts to whole structure or project; making any adjustments or changes necessary or desired; drawing charts for representation of statistical data; drawing finished designs from sketches; using computer assisted drafting (CAD) equipment and software.
Serves as infrastructure inspector as needed.
Assists with CCTV inspection of storm water and sanitary sewer infrastructure.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills:
Knowledge: Knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices and methods as applicable to a municipal setting; some knowledge of applicable City policies, laws and regulations affecting division activities;
Abilities: Ability to prepare, organize and maintain engineering field and office data, reports and systems; ability to effectively communicate complex technical information, orally and in writing to contractors, developers, property owners, employees, consultants, other governmental agency representatives, City officials and the general public.
Skills: Proficient use of Civil 3D design software. Considerable skill in arriving at cost estimates on complex projects; some skill in operating the listed tools and equipment; some skill in basic land and construction surveying.
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduation from a high school or GED, supplemented by two years of related technical or college training in drafting, Computer-Aided-Design (CAD), engineering technology, civil engineering or a closely related field.
Minimum of two years related experience OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must possess a valid Oklahoma State driver's license or have the ability to obtain one prior to employment.
Must be insurable with City's insurance carrier.
Tools and Equipment:
Personal computer, including word processing, spreadsheet, and database and computer-aided-design software, standard drafting tools, engineering calculator; motor vehicle, phone, mobile radio, surveying equipment.
