Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced individual for our Corporate Counsel - Labor & Employment position within our Legal Department.
Working with other members of the legal labor and employment team, provide analysis and counsel to management and HR on global labor and employment issues including recruitment and hiring, discipline, reorganizations, training, company policies, employee handbooks, compensation and benefits issues, etc. Draft, negotiate and review documents relating to executive employment, as well as general HR-related contracts including separation agreements. Develop and recommend company policy and position on worldwide labor and employment issues to ensure company compliance with local, state and federal regulations related to employment (Affirmative Action, ADA, FLSA, FMLA, EEOC, MCAD, NLRB, USERRA etc.) and related regulations in other jurisdictions where employees are situated. Handle employment -related litigation, mediations, hearings (EEOC, etc.), and arbitrations. Anticipate and guard against labor and employment legal risks facing the company. Provide general legal support, when appropriate.
**Position is remote and will require occasional domestic and international travel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide analysis and counsel on labor and employment issues globally. Key areas include recruitment and hiring, discipline, reorganizations, training, company policies, employee handbooks, compensation and benefits issues.
Assist with legal compliance initiatives (policies, trainings, processes, etc.) related to employment and labor areas for the global workforce, as well as in other areas requested from time-to-time, and otherwise provide support generally to members of the legal compliance function.
Draft, negotiate and review documents related to senior executive employment and compensation, including benefits plan documents (including ERISA, COBRA and 409A issues), change-in-control agreements, and employment offer letters.
Draft, negotiate and review both routine and complex HR-related contracts including separation agreements.
Prepare and conduct training for HR and business partners on labor and employment issues and best practices.
Provide counsel on employment disputes, including EEOC, NLRB, MCAD and other discrimination complaints.
Recommend, advise and enforce company policy and position on worldwide labor and employment issues to ensure company compliance with local, state and federal regulations related to employment (Affirmative Action, ADA, FLSA, FMLA, EEOC, MCAD, USERRA etc.) and related regulations in other jurisdictions where employees are situated.
Manage outside counsel on employment litigation matters.
Review employment, labor and benefit issues as part of our acquisitions and divestiture teams, and provide related advice, counsel and risk assessments during the evaluation process.
As requested, serve as Legal Department representative on acquisition integration processes.
As requested, serve as Legal Department representative on Policy Management Committee.
Provide legal counsel on issues arising from actual or anticipated employment-related lawsuits.
Assist in the development and recommendation of company policy and position on employment-related legal issues.
Monitor and analyze changes to employment-related laws and regulations to ensure continued company compliance. Proactively advise management on changes which may affect the business and recommend actionable guidance.
Establish a strong partnership with HR and business teams, providing practical and sound labor and employment advice.
Provide backup legal support for general corporate legal issues as required.
Perform all other related duties as assigned. (Note: Position may be requested in the future to also serve as principal counsel to one or more businesses or functions, including coordinating the delivery of legal services to the businesses/functions and collaborating and establishing strong relationships with their respective leadership teams.)
Job Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) and Juris Doctor or equivalent from an accredited law school.
Experience: Five or more years of related experience, preferably in a combination of a law firm and corporate setting.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
Certification/Licensure: Current license in any US State Bar as an attorney qualified to practice law.
Other: Knowledge of labor/employment-related statutes and regulations. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Compensation Data
The pay range for this position is $180K - $210K USD annually. Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.

Utilizing positive youth development and trauma-informed practices, we provide wrap-around services and academic and career training to out of school youth.
CASE MANAGEMENT AND SUPPORTIVE SERVICES
* Manage an average student case load of 15 active students as well as alumni by providing 1:1 case management services across Youth Programs (YouthBuild and Solar Start).
* Develop and administer the basic needs survey, develop Supportive Action Plans (SAPs), and Student Success Plans.
* Coordinate progress reviews ensuring that trainees receive timely feedback on their progress across all program components.
* Promote respect and responsibility by upholding YouthBuild policies through strength-based coaching.
* Provide supportive service benefits to trainees such as the program stipend, MBTA passes, driving lessons, and other student milestone incentives.
* Maintain relationships and communicate with trainees, family members, guardians, as well as other service providers ensuring continuity of supportive services.
* Advocate for trainees who are court-involved through coordination and communication with lawyers, court-room advocates and accompanying youth to court appearances as necessary.

* Collaborate with the Director of Youth and Alumni Services to develop and co-facilitate the Youth Policy Council (YPC) and Alumni Advisory Board (AAB) design thinking social impact projects and the podcast.
* Co-design and plan program-wide activities (e.g. Pre-orientation, Graduation) and other celebrations that foster a sense of community.

QUALIFICATIONS / KEYS TO SUCCESS:
* Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
* Minimum of 3-5 years of related experience in case management/advocacy is strongly preferred.
* Love, equity-centered, sense of humor, and passion for working with young people and ability to build positive relationships with young people.
* Experience working with young people (ages 16-24) dealing with significant barriers or obstacles to success.
* Demonstrated experience with group facilitation.

POSITION SUMMARY
Epsilon is seeking one or more full-time Wetland Scientists with demonstrated experience with independent wetland delineation and assessment and regulatory permitting to support our growing ecological sciences and energy services practice teams on a wide variety of public and private projects. The Wetland Scientist will support multiple projects simultaneously and will be expected to represent the company at public meetings, workshops, and meetings with federal, state, and local agencies, as well as other stakeholders in conjunction with permit application review.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
Wetland delineations (including ability to delineate independently), vernal pool surveys, rare species surveys, wildlife habitat assessments, and function and values assessments;
Assist in preparation of technical reports and federal, state and local environmental permit applications in both Massachusetts and New York;
Perform project site inspections, construction oversight, and regulatory compliance evaluations on energy transmission, transportation, and other construction projects.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQURIEMENTS
2 to 5+ years of demonstrated experience working in environmental management, regulatory compliance, environmental consulting or similar professional work;
Ability to independently perform ecological field surveys including wetland delineation, vernal pool surveys, wildlife habitat evaluations, and soil classification and assessment;
BS degree in Ecology, Wetland Ecology, Wildlife Biology, Soil Science or a closely related natural resource science degree;
Understanding of federal, state and local environmental statutes and regulations in Massachusetts;

Proven ability to work productively on multiple projects simultaneously as part of a multidisciplinary project team;
Strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
Working knowledge of GIS and GPS survey; and
Experience with preparation of permit applications associated with the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act and Municipal Wetlands Protection Bylaws;

Must include 12 semester hours covering children aged birth through 5 years and four years of experience in a child care setting in a program serving children aged birth through 5 years.
2. Possess and maintain the physical ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds, walk, bend, and stoop and stand on a routine basis. Duties may involve working both indoors and outdoors.
3. Valid Driver's license.
4. Must have within 60 days of hire and maintain valid CPR/First Aid Certifications.

POSITION SUMMARY
Epsilon is seeking one or more full-time Wetland Scientists with demonstrated experience with independent wetland delineation and assessment and regulatory permitting to support our growing ecological sciences and energy services practice teams on a wide variety of public and private projects. The Wetland Scientist will support multiple projects simultaneously and will be expected to represent the company at public meetings, workshops, and meetings with federal, state, and local agencies, as well as other stakeholders in conjunction with permit application review.
Openings exist for qualified individuals with 2 to 5+ years of directly related experience in the primary responsibilities listed below.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
Wetland delineations (including ability to delineate independently), vernal pool surveys, rare species surveys, wildlife habitat assessments, and function and values assessments;
Assist in preparation of technical reports and federal, state and local environmental permit applications in both Massachusetts and New York;
Perform project site inspections, construction oversight, and regulatory compliance evaluations on energy transmission, transportation, and other construction projects.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQURIEMENTS
2 to 5+ years of demonstrated experience working in environmental management, regulatory compliance, environmental consulting or similar professional work;
Ability to independently perform ecological field surveys including wetland delineation, vernal pool surveys, wildlife habitat evaluations, and soil classification and assessment;
BS degree in Ecology, Wetland Ecology, Wildlife Biology, Soil Science or a closely related natural resource science degree;
Understanding of federal, state and local environmental statutes and regulations in Massachusetts;
Superior writing and oral communication skills;
Proven ability to work productively on multiple projects simultaneously as part of a multidisciplinary project team;
Strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
Working knowledge of GIS and GPS survey; and
Experience with preparation of permit applications associated with the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act and Municipal Wetlands Protection Bylaws;
Registration as a Professional Wetland Scientist (PWS) or Professional Wetland Scientist In Training (PWIT) by the Society of Wetland Scientists, wetland scientist certification (CWS) by the State of New Hampshire, and/or certification as a Certified Wildlife Biologist (CWB) by The Wildlife Society or Certified Professional in Erosion and Sedimentation Control (CPESC) is preferred.
Work assignments may require physically demanding fieldwork in challenging environments and weather conditions, and may require local and regional travel, including infrequent overnight travel.
In addition to the Preferred Qualifications, the Candidate must have a valid driver's license to operate a motor vehicle for business travel, including proper insurance and registration and have all necessary paperwork to work in the USA.
SALARY RANGE
Epsilon's pay range for this position is $70,000-$105,000 USD per year. Pay within this range is commensurate with experience and other job-related factors including but not limited to credentials, skill, and geographic location.
