City Of Tustin company history timeline
In 1942, the US Navy established a base for use of blimps for antisubmarine patrols.
His students later organized as "Zeke's Bunch" and held annual picnic reunions in the 1960's at Irvine Park.
The orchards were developed by builders and by 1970 the population had jumped to 32,000.
Utt renamed the business the Tustin Water Works. It remained a private water company until it was finally sold to the City of Tustin in 1977.
Tustin is home to a number of strong start-up companies and sole proprietor owned services, and the birthplace for famed actors and athletes (including Academy award winner Cuba Gooding Jr. and MLB All-Star closing pitcher Heath Bell). It was even selected by Forbes magazine as one of the top towns to live well in America during their 2009 rankings.
