The Department of Psychology within the College of Arts and Sciences at the University at Albany invites applications for a full-time non-tenure-track Lecturer (10 Months) to teach within our online undergraduate Psychology degree program. The position will begin before January 21, 2026 (the first day of spring semester classes) for a one-year term appointment with the potential for renewal. The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching three online courses per semester (six courses per academic year), developing and delivering online course materials, contributing to the program's curriculum, mentoring and advising students, and enhancing student engagement in a virtual environment. Additionally, the candidate will participate in service at the departmental, college, and university levels. This position may include instruction in both introductory and advanced courses. The ability to teach courses in statistics and research methods is especially desirable. Candidates must have a graduate degree in Psychology, extensive experience in online teaching, and a demonstrated appreciation for research. The ideal candidate will have experience with innovative online instructional strategies and certification in online instruction.
