of City Year AmeriCorps members provide support to students, classrooms and the

What You'll Do
As a City Year AmeriCorps member, your service will focus on coaching and
mentoring elementary, middle and/or high school students. You will help these
students earn academic success, improve their attendance, and develop positive
behaviors at school. You will plan and monitor individual student progress and
work with teachers on whole class instruction, breakout spaces and other in-class
student assistance.
Role and Responsibilities
Experience in all these tasks is not necessary. We provide 2-4 weeks of training at
the beginning of the year to support you. Plus, you will work with partner teachers
and school staff every step of the way.
Support academic coaching and interpersonal development for students:
· Work with identified students 1:1 and in small groups
· Develop literacy and/or math skills varying learning activities by student level,
answering student questions and encouraging assignment completion
· Create and implement a behavior management system for students
· Develop interpersonal skills throughout their day, using proven strategies of
learning, practicing, reflection and repetition
· Collaborate with teachers and team members to collect, record, analyze and
monitor individual student progress, participating in facilitated reviews of student
data collected and entered into City Year's student data system· Create an engaging, safe and healthy classroom space in collaboration with the teacher
Support Whole School initiatives to increase engagement with students and
families:
· Support and/or conduct extended day and virtual programming for students
before, during and after school including, but not limited to, academic enrichment
and intervention, homework support, recreation and student clubs, service
learning, and leadership development
· Create, support and/or co-lead events or programs that recognize and appreciate
student growth and/or achievement in math, literacy, attendance, and behavior

PAY INFORMATION:

POSITION SUMMARY
The policy and research manager will lead and manage CDF-Ohio's advocacy, movement building, and research programs ensuring that policymakers and the public receive timely, accurate, and evidence-based research information. The position will lead the development of policy recommendations informed by the lived experiences of Ohio's youth, young adults, parents, caregivers, and faith activists, aligned to CDF's mission, values, and strategy. The policy and research manager will also take a lead role in assisting with grant development and fundraising strategies, including prospecting as assigned by the State Director.
The policy and research manager will supervise all aspects of CDF-Ohio's research program and Ohio KIDS COUNT project. The policy and research manager will ensure that public dissemination of all research information and KIDS COUNT data is relevant, informative, and accessible. The research manager will ensure that all research data and information will inform CDF-Ohio's development of a research agenda, research questions, policy priorities, and advocacy.
The policy and research manager will supervise all aspects of CDF's movement building strategies with Ohio's Freedom Schools, youth, young adults, parents, caregivers, and faith-based activists, including the collection and dissemination of their lived experiences.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Advocacy
Manage CDF-Ohio's advocacy strategy which includes:
Developing CDF-Ohio's policy priorities,
Disseminating and communicating CDF-Ohio's policy priorities,
Drafting policy and agency rule proposals,
Monitoring bills and agency rules,
Attending legislative and agency rule committee hearings,
Preparing and presenting legislative and agency rule testimony,

Assist in developing and supporting established strategic direction for recruitment efforts of the assigned district to ensure achievement of assigned collection goals and organizational objectives.

Monitors, evaluates and adjusts donor scheduling, donor flow and customer service issues in collections operations in collaboration with Collections District Manager to enhance the donor experience to contribute to achievement of organizational goals.
Performs periodic operational audits to assigned area to assess efficiency and effectiveness of current methods to improve productivity in support of organizational goals. Assists region management with budget planning and monitoring to assure sufficiency and efficiency utilization of financial resources to achieve stated collections goals.
Develop and supervise assigned staff in accordance with human resources policies, including performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and hiring and firing decisions, to enhance success of operations and minimize turnover.

You will be responsible for receiving, processing, packing and shipping blood products/samples for hospital orders. You will triage the order based on date and time needed, select and carefully pack life-saving blood products with the correct temperature regulating product to ensure safe transport. As a Lead Tech in Blood components manufacturing, you are responsible for manufacturing and processing blood products after the units have been received from the donors. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE JOB:
The American Red Cross is seeking a Tech Support Analyst based in Columbus, Ohio.
The Tech Support Analyst will install, troubleshoot, and repair software and/or equipment. The Tech Support Analyst will solve user's routine to moderately complex problems with network or applications software for internal and external users. Will also partner with and provide support to Red Cross IT End User Services volunteers.
Perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with standard operating procedures and other applicable Federal, State and local regulations.
The work location for this exciting opportunity is located at 995 E Broad St., Columbus, OH. The selected candidate will work from this Red Cross office and need to be able to travel within a 5 minute to 4 hour radius of the office up to 10% -15% of the time.
Standard work hours are 8:00 - 5:00pm. We work a 40 hour work week schedule, Monday - Fridays.

* Respond to technical and/or user problems utilizing technical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Provide escalated technical support for complex issues as needed.
* Review records and document reports of malfunctions, issues and maintenance as well as organizational, procedural, and workflow plans and methods.
* Review, analyze, and evaluate technology and systems operations and provide recommendations to improve efficiency and utilization.
* Prepare metrics, activity and progress reports regarding projects, tasks, and operations
* Adhere to standard operations and policies. Ensure compliance with negotiated service level agreements.
* Provide training and guidance to other staff. Contribute expertise to projects.
Scope: Individual contributor that works under limited supervision. Apply subject matter knowledge. Capacity to understand specific needs or requirements to apply skills/knowledge.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (required/minimum qualifications):
* Bachelor's degree required. Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
* Experience: Minimum 2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
* Skills & Abilities: Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to apply technical expertise to resolve problems. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks efficiently. Ability to work on a team.
* Travel: 10-15%
* Combination of candidate's education and general experience satisfies requirements so long as the total years equate to description's minimum education and general experience years combined (Management experience cannot be substituted).
Physical Requirements: Physical requirements are those present in normal office environment conditions. Operational flexibility is required to meet sudden and unpredictable needs. Ability to use a computer, applicable software, and office equipment for sustained periods of time. May include sitting for long periods of time, driving a vehicle, and working under challenging conditions. PAY INFORMATION:
The starting hourly salary range for this position is $28.75. - $30.00. We do not offer an annual bonus for this role.
This job will be posted for a minimum of five business days and extended if the applicant pool needs to be expanded.

Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role. To directly supervise their cabin group, encourage campers to participate in all activities, and guide the campers throughout their stay at camp with attention to safety at all times.
Responsibilities
Plan and implement daily activities with your group.
Communicate and work with a cabin group and provide necessary instructions to campers.
Observe camper behaviors, assess appropriateness, enforce appropriate safety regulations and emergency procedures, and apply appropriate behavior management techniques.
Plan, conduct, and teach activities to campers.
Guide individual campers in participating successfully in all aspects of camp activities.

Carry out established roles in enforcing camp safety regulations.
Develop daily activities with, not for, the campers.

Physical ability to participate in all camp activities (i.e., hiking, swimming, ropes course, etc.)
Physical ability to respond appropriately to situations requiring first-aid and to assist campers in other emergency situations.
Set a good example for campers and others including cleanliness, punctuality, clean up and chores, and table manners.
Follow camp rules and regulations as outlined in personnel policies and procedures and staff training.
Encourage respect for personal property, camp equipment, and facilities.
Submit all required reports on time.
At the end of each session, clean your cabin area and assist others with clean up of your unit and other camp areas.
All other duties and tasks assigned to you by the Director of Camp Experience and/or Director of Teen and Community Education
