Position Overview
Impact Manager (IM) leads and develops a team of AmeriCorps members (ACMs) as idealistic, emerging leaders and practitioners focused on strengthening schools and supporting students to improve performance. Reporting to an Impact Director and working from a partner school(s), the IM plays a critical role in implementing City Year's school-based Whole School Whole Child (WSWC) service model, mission, and practices. The IM is also an effective talent developer who will support AmeriCorps members through a challenging and rewarding year of service.

City Year Greater Boston (CYGB) seek Impact Manager (IM) candidates who will manage and mentor up to two teams of full-time AmeriCorps members, overseeing the implementation of our service model in the partner schools we serve in Boston and Everett Public Schools.
Impact Managers are responsible for three main areas
: program implementation, corps member program delivery and experience
, and
service partner management.
The Impact Manager must be effective in relationship development and team management, coaching AmeriCorps members (ACMs) per team to deliver attendance, behavior, and course performance supports to students, as well as enabling a rewarding, productive, professional and successful year of service. In this way, the IM is responsible for managing the daily programmatic operations of their team and leading them to ensure that all goals and service outcomes are met.
Additionally, the Impact Manager serves as the primary City Year liaison in schools, building strong relationships with school administrators and personnel to successfully fulfill the services in the Statement of Partnership.
Reporting to an Impact Director, the Impact Manager plays a critical role in implementing City Year Greater Boston's school-based service model. Impact Managers are expected to serve in person at their school site, except on days when there are in-person meetings or trainings. This role is expected to work a 40-hour workweek, with standard work hours falling between 7am- 5pm, Monday - Friday, depending on the needs of the program.

Position Overview
City Year New Hampshire (CYNH) is seeking a Student Success Network Manager to support 7-Year Promise, a bold new initiative to create a mentoring network that supports students through relationships and connections ("social capital") that will help them in school and in life. The Student Success Network Manager will work with City Year staff on site in Manchester, NH and City Year HQ as well as with consultants and partners to coordinate the program design and implementation plan and then will manage operation of the network. This position will also provide strategic support for the overall initiative which includes other elements of career-connected learning, holistic student support, and family and community engagement.
This role is dynamic and forward-thinking. It provides an opportunity to think strategically and to creatively apply project management and leadership skills to new and existing programs. Job Description
Responsibilities:
Solution-Oriented Collaboration and Project Management
* Serve as partner to the Executive Director and 7 Year Promise core team, providing support in developing and executing vision and strategy.
* Manage group meetings and processes and coordinate overall engagement of contributing staff members, consultants and HQ departments.
* Ensure efforts across multiple planning workstreams are aligned, learning and information is synthesized and shared, and groups are meeting timelines and goals.
* Lead on short-term pilots and/or annual projects to improve overall service impact and/or City Year member experience aligned with school partner, student and alumni engagement.
* Help create consistent updates for core planning team, key partners and stakeholders.
Student Success Network Design and Management
* Manage process to design and develop a comprehensive implementation plan for alumni and student engagement (Student Success Network) including review and incorporation of best practices; identification of goals, milestones, and tactics; communication and outreach strategies; partnership development; and evaluation and continuous learning strategies.
* Identify social capital skill building needs among participants in partnership with core planning team and other partners.
* Liaison with technology partner to develop an on-line platform to support the network and manage platform once developed.
* Lead pilot of Student Success Network and work with planning team to incorporate lessons learned into design improvements.
* Contribute to insightful and collaborative engagement of partners, educators, alumni and consultants.
Data Management
* Create, customize and manage data collection strategies to capture areas of engagement and learning within initiative development and implementation.
* Create holistic data management systems for students, corps members and alumni engagement.
* Work with research/evaluation partners to collect data about the network and its impact.
Participation in Organizational Initiatives (all site staff)
* Participate in both individual and site-wide learning opportunities centered on core organizational values.
* Observe & participate in current City Year New Hampshire's annual operations to be able to effectively plan and support change management of the strategic plan implementation.
* Collaborate with site leadership team to help advance organizational priorities and long-term impact plan.

POSITION OVERVIEW
Jumpstart seeks an Executive Assistant to partner with the President & Chief Operating Officer (COO) in overseeing Jumpstart's internal operations and successful implementation of its strategic plan. POSITION OVERVIEW
The Recruiting Specialist works in partnership with the Talent Management team to support Jumpstart's vision; mission; brand; strategic objectives; diversity, equity and inclusion goals; culture; and values by thoughtfully attracting and engaging with current and prospective employees and staff. Recruitment

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
* High School or equivalent required.
* Minimum 2 years of related experience in a regulatory, laboratory, or manufacturing environment or equivalent combination of education and related experience preferred.
* Good computer skills, ability to use a wide variety of programs and laboratory equipment, attention to detail, accurate documentation, and good decision-making skills.
* Good communication skills, with the ability to work on a team, as well as independently with minimal supervision
Physical Requirements:
Requires standing, stretching, stooping and bending for extended time periods. Lift, pull, push and move objects of up to 50 pounds. May work in walk-in refrigerator/freezers for periods of time. May be required to wear protective clothing such as lab coats, gloves, face shields, etc.

Pay Information: $29.50 hourly rate plus shift differential pay for hours worked after 3:00 pm & all weekend hours ($2.25-$5.00 more per hour for this shift).

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Director of Civic Engagement & Advocacy (DCEA) is responsible for leading Jumpstart's civic engagement activities for all Jumpstart constituencies, including Jumpstart alumni especially, higher education and early education partners, and donors. The DCEA utilizes Jumpstart's network within communities to empower the voices of children, families, Corps members, alumni, early educators, future early educators, and others and to facilitate their participation in policy advocacy activities. The DCEA employs an intentional grassroots engagement approach that centers those who are directly impacted by policies and systems.
The DCEA reports to the Vice President of Policy & Government Relations and is a crucial member of the Policy & Government Relations team consisting of staff in California, Massachusetts, New York, and Washington, DC.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Engagement Strategy
Develop and implement Jumpstart's civic engagement and advocacy strategy-grounded in grassroots engagement and social justice and aligned with Jumpstart's national strategic plan and policy agenda.
In partnership with Jumpstart's Alumni, Program, and Marketing & Communications departments, build out a powerful and energized community of engaged stakeholders who will routinely participate in policy advocacy activities, resulting in early education policy victories at the federal, state, and local levels.
Become expert in Jumpstart's policy priorities and engage stakeholders to inform the development of Jumpstart's policy priorities going forward.
Utilize thought leadership strategies, including op-eds, as part of the civic engagement and advocacy plan.
Utilize Jumpstart's Salesforce system to track and facilitate engagement and reporting of progress and successes.
Activating and Organizing Early Education Stakeholders
Implement programs that increase the civic participation of Jumpstart stakeholders who support early education with an emphasis on members of communities who are disproportionately impacted by education inequity or systemic barriers to education.
Provide at least quarterly action alert opportunities for Jumpstart alumni and donors to participate in advocacy.
Conduct or organize trainings to prepare stakeholders to maximize their participation in advocacy activities.
Organize and lead Days of Action or Lobby Days to facilitate alumni engagement on Capitol Hill and targeted state houses in California, Georgia, and Massachusetts.
Create Jumpstart alumni policy fellowship opportunities whereby Jumpstart alums can receive training and participate in policy advocacy activities.
Facilitate grasstops advocacy by offering opportunities for Jumpstart board members and donors to engage in targeted policy advocacy efforts.
Managing Internal and External Partnerships
Support and grow authentic and meaningful partnerships with other community-based organizations and leaders in the education, policy, social justice, and civic engagement spaces to learn from and coordinate engagement activities.
Collaborate with Marketing & Communications department to utilize digital/social media to help achieve engagement goals with a particular emphasis on engaging young people and communities of color.
Develop trusting relationships with Jumpstart's Alumni, Marketing & Communications, Development, and Program departments to collaborate effectively with them on the civic engagement and advocacy plan.
QUALIFICATIONS
At least 5 years of related or applicable organizing experience on political or social issues and a proven ability to motivate, train, and develop other leaders, organizers, and volunteers
Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant professional experience
Dynamic, collaborative leader with the ability to plan, train, motivate, and support civic engagement
Highly organized, results-driven, self-starter with a passion for empowering voices too often overlooked in policymaking
Strong analytical thinking, strategic planning, problem-solving, and organizational skills and project management experience
Understanding of federal, state, and local political and policymaking processes
Demonstrated success in leading or contributing to organizing campaigns to achieve policy or political goals, including engagement of Black, Latinx, youth, and other underrepresented communities.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (Job Overview):
The Business Operations Coordinator will perform transactional activities such as budget monitoring, handling daily finance transactions, managing local vendor relationships, facilities management, and running records/reports to support the finance, operational and administrative functions. Provide support, development and/or leadership guidance to all volunteers.
Specific Duties:
Financial & Administrative Reporting: Provides administrative budget monitoring and expenditure review regarding expenses including approval of regional procurement transactions. Collaborates with department leaders to ensure that programs are executed within budget. Prepares and analyzes expense data for department directors. Responds to internal/external requests for expense information and/or documentation as appropriate for input, tracking or reporting.
eMax for Facility/Asset Management Oversight: Approves and ensures repairs are completed within budget and appropriate system is used to pay vendors, including generating work, service orders, purchase orders; and all functions are updated and current in eMax.
Facility Documentation: Performs monthly uploads of facility documentation received from Facility Management.
Volunteer Supervision and Coordination: Provides direction and training to volunteers to handle the administrative transactions necessary for the business, ensuring that their efforts are well-coordinated with the strategic business goals. Evaluates volunteer performance. Plans work schedules, assigns or delegates work daily.
Events: Trains staff to prepare insurance certificate applications, financial collection processes, and appropriate forms and codes used for regulated items.

Provide administrative budget support such as: expense coding, financial report dissemination, analyzing monthly forecasting of expenses, initiation, monitoring, and approval of regional procurement transactions, establishing location processes for cash and card transactions, and ensuring that programs are executed within budget in collaboration with department leaders. May coordinate and train volunteers to assist with less complex daily transactional work.
Lead system user/training for Business Applications and IT Services using the appropriate system to troubleshoot phone and computer issues for Region and assist with tech services requests.
Support facilities/asset management by ensuring repairs are completed within budget and managing vendor-related activities such as ensuring the appropriate system is used to pay vendors, maintaining relationships with vendors at each physical location, obtaining proposals for new vendors, providing business plan information for real estate transactions, and updating risk management system with current values/status.
Maintain fleet inventory records, file, and maintain insurance claims and follow up with estimates/repairs.
Maintain insurance certificate applications, financial collection processes, and appropriate forms and codes used for regulated items including alcohol to support meeting planning.
Provide guidance and data for grant reports and respond to internal/external requests for information and/or documentation.
Develop, maintain, and distribute a regional Standard Operating Procedures Manual to ensure consistent processes/procedures related to operations functions throughout the Region.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: High School or equivalent required. Associate's degree in Accounting, Business or Public Administration preferred.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of financial or facilities administrative support experience in community organizations, government agencies, non-profit organizations, business or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
Skills & Abilities: Ability to work on a team. Ability to plan, prioritize and organize work to maximize team performance and meet customer expectations. Excellent organizational skills and ability to work with attention to detail. POSITION OVERVIEW
The Site Manager role is a full year position which ensures substantive language, literacy and social-emotional learning gains for children and drives member outcomes through strong management and delivery of programming. The Jumpstart Site Manager ensures high quality programming by overseeing the day-to-day operations of the program and by serving as the primary Jumpstart representative for 1-3 higher education partners. The Site Manager recruits, trains, and supervises college students serving as part-time AmeriCorps members and volunteers to work with preschool children from under-served communities. The individual in this role provides observation, feedback, coaching and modeling to Corps Members on a regular basis to strengthen classroom impact. The Site Manager reports to a Director of Programs. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Programmatic Impact and Early Childhood Education & Training
Design and facilitate a Jumpstart training series for Jumpstart Corps Members and Team Leaders to prepare all Corps Members to successfully engage in service and to deliver high quality classroom programming; adapt or develop training content for members when necessary.
Use Jumpstart's coaching framework to observe Jumpstart sessions and planning meetings to monitor the quality of interactions between Corps Members and children and the implementation of planned curriculum.
Coach Team Leaders and teams of Jumpstart Corps Members to increase their ability to meet children's learning and developmental needs and increase the cultural competency of Jumpstart's programming in each classroom.
Lead weekly Team Leader Meetings per Jumpstart guidelines to support leadership skill development, to deepen team leader knowledge of early childhood education practices, and to ensure team leaders are prepared to lead high quality sessions each week.
Order, organize, distribute and manage curriculum supplies for high quality program implementation.
Implement continuous improvement processes to strengthen team and classroom outcomes and ensure Jumpstart Quality Standards are met.
Engage in regular and ongoing learning and professional development related to early childhood education to inform and strengthen practices.
Partner with classroom teachers and preschool center directors to plan, implement and negotiate aspects of program implementation. For example, work closely with teachers to ensure child data (consent forms) are collected and to administer child assessments.
Contribute to communities of practice to share best practices, problem solve with peers, and to support the development of Program Operations resources.
2. Program Management and Operations
Provide Jumpstart Corps Members and Team Leaders with systematic supervision and support, consistent and responsive management, and clear ongoing communication to support Corps Members to successfully complete their term of service, which includes supporting them in the completion of expected hours requirements.
Utilize required databases such as Salesforce, eGrants, AmericaLearns/OnCorps, and MyJstart for administrative aspects of Corps Member management.
Plan and manage the Corps Member recruitment process; interview and select all members for a Jumpstart site.
Where applicable (as mandated by varied AmeriCorps partnerships), recruit a Volunteer Coordinator and manage them to develop and implement outside volunteer engagement opportunities to meet the sites' outside volunteer goals.
Review and approve Corps Member timesheets per Jumpstart's compliance expectations using America Learns and/or OnCorps. Where applicable, comply with the higher education partner's federal work study timesheet process.
Work with national staff and Data/Program Coordinators to ensure grant and programmatic compliance, as related to the supervision of Jumpstart Corps Members, management of Corps Member criminal history checks and files components, conducting end of year performance review of Corps Members, child data collection and assessment, and the site budget per Jumpstart, AmeriCorps, and other grant specifications.
Review site monitoring reports in collaboration with Data/Program Coordinators and engage in continuous improvement practices to strengthen site compliance.
Complete periodic site progress reports and the annual site application process, per Jumpstart and/or grant requirements.
Actively participate in team meetings to contribute to community, to share with and learn from peers, and to remain informed of organizational updates and work priorities.
3. Campus and Community Partnerships and Operations
Build and manage high quality Preschool Program Partner relationships.
Cultivate and manage campus relations to ensure Jumpstart visibility, integration, and the sustainability and success of the program on campus.
Work with campus-based faculty, staff, and administrators who can support Jumpstart Corps Member training, recruitment efforts, student supports, and foster campus relationships, systems and processes.
Build and manage high quality community partner/stakeholder relationships.
Support Volunteer Coordinator to plan and execute volunteer engagement activities that involve outside members of the community and corporate sponsors in Jumpstart's work.
Host Jumpstart site visits for external stakeholders such as elected officials, funders, or higher education partners.
QUALIFICATIONS

This position is a unique opportunity to provide 1-on-1 care to patients in a specialty area (Therapeutic Apheresis). Our nurses get to work collaboratively with physicians and act as the go-between for the physician and the patient. You will get to travel to different hospitals and Red Cross sites. We travel to Worcester, Milford, and Burlington . We do the following procedures: plasma exchange, red cell exchange leukapheresis, stem cell harvests, photopheresis, therapeutic phlebotomies, platelet reductions, and white blood cell depletion.
Key Responsibilities:
You will perform Apheresis procedures autonomously in multiple settings including critical care, emergency room, and freestanding outpatient centers.
Perform venipunctures, access central venous catheters, and access vortex and bard ports.
Perform all phases of therapeutic apheresis procedures (plasma exchange, red cell exchange, platelet, and white cell reduction, photopheresis, and hematopoietic progenitor cell collection), to ensure safe and appropriate care of the patient and explain, as needed, the procedures for patients and their family and other attending healthcare professionals.
Act as a consultant to external health care personnel about clinical apheresis.
Assess patient status relative to therapeutic apheresis, prior to and during procedures, utilizing the nursing process, laboratory testing results, and other clinically significant procedures.
Coordinate closely with physicians and nurses at a variety of hospitals to arrange therapeutic apheresis treatments and facilitate coordinated care.
Evaluate patient medication for compatibility and safety of apheresis procedure and determine when to contact the physician.
Assemble, restock, QC, and maintain supplies and equipment in a state of readiness to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
The American Red Cross will provide all necessary training. No experience is required.
Standard Schedule: Variable 1st shift Monday to Friday- 40 hrs per week - Rotating on calls
The salary range for this position is: $38-$42 per hour. Plus other incentives that increase the total compensation
Qualifications:
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse and CPR certification is required.
Bachelor's degree (preferred) OR a combination of education and work experience.
Two years of experience in medical/surgical or critical care nursing, OR-related experience.
Previous apheresis or dialysis experience is beneficial but not required.
Good vein selection and venipuncture skills are essential.
Good verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively discuss procedures and medical issues with patients, families, and physicians.
Customer service experience, effective verbal communication, and public relations skills are preferred.

POSITION OVERVIEW
This is an outstanding career opportunity and a vital role for an exceptionally motivated and experienced Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to Jumpstart's Chief Development & Marketing Officer (CDMO). The ideal candidate is excited by the opportunity to experience and influence the daily operations of a dynamic nonprofit organization engaged in a five-year strategic plan and growth capital campaign and will leverage a broad range of skills with a high degree of professionalism, initiative, and collaboration in managing a variety of responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
They must be detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills to effectively manage multiple priorities including providing support to the Development Leadership Team:

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Administrative Support
Ensure clarity, prioritization, and strong coordination of the CDMO's daily activities.
Proactively maintain CDMO's calendar and daily schedule; arrange upcoming meetings, prepare CDMO by providing supporting agendas and all relevant information.
Manage or assist with the management of internal policies and procedures on behalf of the CDMO (e.g. new hire protocols, performance review processes, budgeting, approval of time etc.).
Maintain administrative files and documents; prepare PowerPoint decks, Excel spreadsheets, and other documents utilizing best in class tools/technologies.
Manage or assist with special projects and events as needed including conducting research, event planning, preparation for speaking and other engagements, etc.
Provide supplemental tech support and guidance to CDMO in understanding, navigating, operating, and troubleshooting Jumpstart software applications, hardware, telecom equipment, online platforms, Zoom and MS Teams video technology and related functions, and other technology tools as applicable.
Provide support to the Senior Development Leadership Team (the Vice Presidents of Marketing, Communications, and Brand, Development and Associate Vice President) for meeting preparation, logistics and follow up.
Manage CDMO and Development Leadership Team travel arrangements to Jumpstart's markets and support back end responsibilities such as expense reporting through the appropriate Jumpstart system, i.e. Concur.
Handle other administrative duties as necessary.
Database Management (Salesforce) Responsibilities
Follow all internal processes and procedures to ensure that all internal databases are maintained at the highest level.
Request reports and learn how to run reports working with Development Operations team to secure data quickly and efficiently.
Maintain the CDMO's inputs into the Salesforce database on a timely basis.
Communications
Maintain CDMO's shared documents and intranet presence.
Support CDMO's correspondence including writing, transcribing, editing, and proofreading.
Relationship Building
Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships internally and externally; serve as a liaison to staff, key stakeholders, and others on behalf of the CDMO including members of the Executive Team, Leadership Team, Local Advisory Boards, donors and all external parties.
Support the CDMO's, Vice-Presidents, and AVP's work with Jumpstart's Local Advisory Boards and Growth Capital Campaign committee follow up designing tools and protocols to effectively manage the work and necessary follow-up.
Organizational Knowledge
Maintain in-depth understanding of the organization's mission, values, strategic goals, and program model.
Access the organization's intranet daily to track requests, special announcements, staff changes, etc.; provide updates to the CDMO during regular check-ins or as needed.
Project Management & Problem Solving
Understanding and commitment to project management skills:

Communicate roles, expectations, and objectives to the team
Monitor progress and identify roadblocks
Make sure all deliverables have been met and finalize the project

Demonstrate an ability to create processes and systems to streamline internal operations for the CDMO and her leadership team, including the Growth Capital Campaign, Pipeline Review meetings for the Executive Team and Prospect Review Meetings with the Development Team.

QUALIFICATIONS
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant professional experience
Considerable number of years of experience (5+) assisting high-level executives (preferably at the C-Suite level) and/or experience on a development team, ideally within development operations.
2-3 years of experience in project management or development operations.
Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills; ability to work with all staff at all levels.
Excellent problem-solving skills and resourcefulness; ability to follow-through and close loops.
Proficiency in MS Office with excellent Outlook organizational skills; ability to facilitate use of technology for conference calls, and meetings (e.g. Microsoft Teams and Zoom).
Superb attention to detail.
Comfortable working with budgeting tasks.
Availability to flex or work after hours when necessary.
Ability to handle confidential information and act with discretion.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Teams), Google apps, and Salesforce.

Position Overview
City Year New Hampshire (CYNH) is seeking a Student Success Network Manager to support 7-Year Promise, a bold new initiative to create a mentoring network that supports students through relationships and connections (“social capital”) that will help them in school and in life. The Student Success Network Manager will work with City Year staff on site in Manchester, NH and City Year HQ as well as with consultants and partners to coordinate the program design and implementation plan and then will manage operation of the network. This position will also provide strategic support for the overall initiative which includes other elements of career-connected learning, holistic student support, and family and community engagement.

Responsibilities:
Solution-Oriented Collaboration and Project Management
Serve as partner to the Executive Director and 7 Year Promise core team, providing support in developing and executing vision and strategy.
Manage group meetings and processes and coordinate overall engagement of contributing staff members, consultants and HQ departments.
Ensure efforts across multiple planning workstreams are aligned, learning and information is synthesized and shared, and groups are meeting timelines and goals.
Lead on short-term pilots and/or annual projects to improve overall service impact and/or City Year member experience aligned with school partner, student and alumni engagement.
Help create consistent updates for core planning team, key partners and stakeholders.
Student Success Network Design and Management
Manage process to design and develop a comprehensive implementation plan for alumni and student engagement (Student Success Network) including review and incorporation of best practices; identification of goals, milestones, and tactics; communication and outreach strategies; partnership development; and evaluation and continuous learning strategies.
Identify social capital skill building needs among participants in partnership with core planning team and other partners.
Liaison with technology partner to develop an on-line platform to support the network and manage platform once developed.
Lead pilot of Student Success Network and work with planning team to incorporate lessons learned into design improvements.
Contribute to insightful and collaborative engagement of partners, educators, alumni and consultants.
Data Management
Create, customize and manage data collection strategies to capture areas of engagement and learning within initiative development and implementation.
Create holistic data management systems for students, corps members and alumni engagement.
Work with research/evaluation partners to collect data about the network and its impact.
Participation in Organizational Initiatives (all site staff)
Participate in both individual and site-wide learning opportunities centered on core organizational values.
Observe & participate in current City Year New Hampshire's annual operations to be able to effectively plan and support change management of the strategic plan implementation.
