DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS
This is the full working class in law enforcement. Incumbents appointed to this class will have related work experience and will possess law enforcement training. Initially, incumbents will be assigned to patrol and work under close supervision, performing the more routine duties assigned to positions in this class. However, as experience is gained, incumbents are expected to perform the full range of duties as assigned with increasing independence. Disaster Service Workers
