Prepares complete project documentation to include plans, specifications, and engineer estimates including the collection, assembling, and organizing of project data. Works on multiple projects of moderate to large size using time efficiently to stay within budget and timely delivery. This position reports to the Sr. Manager and is part of the Advanced Engineering Group located in Pensacola, FL, and will be an on-site role. What you will do: Design and manage vendor relationships for membrane manufacturing equipment. Lead or collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams through concept, design, procurement, installation, shakedown, and qualification phases. Produce detailed drawings and documentation for fabrication and installation, including sheet metal, framework, piping systems, and instrumentation. Supervise contractors and oversee component and vendor selection to ensure quality and efficiency. Support installation qualification and continuous improvement of equipment performance and reliability. Who you are: Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical or chemical preferred). 1+ years of industrial engineering experience, including hands-on work with manufacturing floors or equipment. Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D required), with exposure to 3D modeling considered a plus. Ability to manage multiple projects, including both desk-based design (30%), field installation (30%) activities, and manufacturing floor activities (35%), and willingness to work in challenging environments (e.g., high heat, under equipment) Familiar with OSHA and local safety regulations, ensuring compliance in all engineering activities Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environmental Requirements: Ability to travel - 10%, in supporting other Cytiva manufacturing sites, as well as factory acceptance tests Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Expertise in fluid systems design-including tube and pipe systems, pump curves, and chemical compatibility-for applications ranging from flammable chemicals to USP DI water systems. Familiarity with classified electrical hazardous locations (Class 1, Division 1 & 2), including standards for mechanical and electrical components used in those environments. Hands-on experience with membrane extrusion or quench cast manufacturing, ASME pressure vessels, and installation qualification methods.
