We are seeking a highly skilled, self-motivated, technically minded Senior CivilEngineer with 8 to 12 years of experience to join our team in applying engineering skills to a variety of challenging projects. We are looking for someone with experience that ranges from project entitlements and preliminary design through construction documents and construction administration.
Compensation and Benefits:
Expected Base Salary: $100,000 to $140,000 based on experience.
Paid overtime at 1.0 times hourly rate.
Competitive end of year discretionary bonus based on company/team/personal performance.
Hybrid work schedule (subject to change).
401k with maximum of 5% Contribution Matching with 9% Employee Contribution.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in CivilEngineering
Professional Engineer (PE) registration required
Registration in California preferred
Minimum of 8-12 years of professional land development experience in the design of life sciences, commercial, office, higher education, mixed-use, residential, healthcare, municipal, and/or Federal projects including:
Managing multiple, concurrent projects
Leading design team efforts
Successfully managing project budgets and schedules
Interfacing with a multi-discipline design team
Mentoring junior staff
Client management
Technical experience with hydrologic and hydraulic calculations, technical studies, mapping documents, preparation and processing of civil construction documents, and earthwork calculations
Stormwater experience in San Diego County preferred
Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
Specification preparation experience preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to foster long term client relationships
Excellent time management skills
San Diego experience and relationships a plus
Expected Salary Range $100,000.00 to $140,000.00.
