CivilEngineer - Engineering (DA109) Candidates shall work to support requirements for TBC (Engineering Services) and statement of work (SOW) while maintaining required qualifications Nuclear & Environmental Management Sector. ProSidian Team Members (# FTe's: 1) work as part of the CivilEngineer Engagement Team Cadre to serve as a CivilEngineer responsible for performing a variety of CivilEngineering assignments, including design, manufacture, test, installation, operation, and maintenance of diverse process equipment and systems, and generally as a member of a design, construction, operations, or review team on more complex assignments or as a lead on less complex assignments. A CivilEngineer, or Licensed CivilEngineer, is responsible for overseeing the design and construction of roads, bridges, waterways, sewage treatment plants and other types of infrastructure. Their duties include using software programs to design structural blueprints, adhering to construction laws and environmental constraints and visiting construction sites to monitor the building process. The CivilEngineer is responsible for designing and supervising infrastructure projects. Under the direct supervision of the Supervising Discipline Engineer, perform a variety of engineering assignments in planning and overseeing research, development, design, manufacture, test, installation, operation and maintenance as a member of a design, analysis or review team. They ensure each project is feasible by analyzing local and environmental impacts and making sure that they can be completed on time within the budget restrictions.

A CivilEngineer, or Facilities CivilEngineer, designs, builds, and tests various mechanical devices, like industrial machines, transportation systems, and robotics equipment. In addition, CivilEngineers perform many manufacturing, construction, facility maintenance, scientific and technical tasks related to the process of Nuclear, Energy, and Environmental Management Sector products/services/deliverables. Some of their typical duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following worksite functionalities (Specific Task Order Performance Work Statements May supersede listed tasks for this role):
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyzing survey reports, long-range plans, maps and other data to design new projects
Completing and submitting all permit applications to the appropriate agencies and ensuring projects are compliant throughout the design and construction stages
Conduct site visits and investigate engineering problems, propose solutions and alternatives, and provide recommendations.
