Coordination: Attend design coordination meetings with team members and client representatives to ensure clear communication and alignment. Field Work: Coordinate and assist with site visits, field measurements, data collection, and construction site inspections. Prepare field reports and follow up on observations. Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (drafters, designers, engineers) and external stakeholders (consultants, architects, contractors, clients) to ensure successful project outcomes. Business Development: Collaborate with Marketing and Business Development teams to respond to RFQs, including participation in interviews, resume preparation, and presentations. Team Leadership: Assist in the training, mentoring, and development of junior team members and contribute to peer reviews. Professional Engagement: Actively participate in industry organizations to enhance the firm's technical reputation and visibility. Requirements Bachelor's degree in civil engineering (Master's degree preferred). Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Structural Engineer (S.E.). 10 plus years of experience in structural engineering. Proficiency with software such as RISA, RAM, Bluebeam, Revit, and AutoCAD is a plus. Expertise in structural steel, wood, masonry, light-gauge metal framing, and/or reinforced concrete building design.
