As a CivilEngineer for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), you'll work with project teams to create land development plans for our private, public and energy sector clients. From an urban redevelopment site, industrial sites, to a new school project, you'll take part in designing site layouts, grading plans, storm water management facilities, water quality best management practices, and utilities. Interacting with clients, contractors, local government officials, you'll impact the whole project - from conceptual and design phases, through the regulatory review process, bidding, and construction, all the way to project completion.

THE WORK
You'll provide inspection and quality assurance on highway and roadway construction projects.
You'll determine if completed work follows the plans and specifications.
You'll coordinate work with the contractor and various public utilities agencies.
You'll maintain the records and reports related to the project.
You'll coordinate directly with the general contractor and negotiate change orders.

Review the design aspects which will include site layouts, grading plans, stormwater management facilities, water quality best management practices, and utilities.
Interacting with clients, contractors, and local government officials, you'll impact the whole project - from concept, through the regulatory review process, bidding, and construction, all the way to the grand opening.

Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in CivilEngineering;
10+ years of engineering experience;
Professional Engineering License (P.E.) in the state of Ohio;
Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D;
Experience and knowledge of Ohio's civil design standards
