The salary listed on this job posting is the starting salary range; amount offered will depend

upon qualifications.

Performs a variety of low-skilled and unskilled strenuous labor assisting in the cleaning, maintenance of both public and private properties throughout the city of Dallas, operating tractors, mowers, and other lawn equipment; maintaining public facilities, collects garbage/brush and trims landscape and operating city vehicles. Utilize ipad to update case assignments.

Essential Functions

1. Loads and unloads tools, construction material and equipment onto trucks to ensure necessary tools are available for to conduct maintenance.

2. Operates tractors, mowers, and other lawn equipment.

3. Performs minor preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure proper operating conditions.

4. Cuts grass, removes litter and weeds and facility grounds maintenance.

5. Regular, reliable and punctual attendance is an essential function of the job.

6. Communicate with Supervisor and Crew Leader regarding work assignments.

Minimum Qualifications

Education(Required)

Must have a least an eight-grade education.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities(Required)

* Must have the ability to understand and follow specific oral and written instruction. (Required)
* General knowledge of how to operate a cell phone and iPad.(Required)
* Good driving record. (Preferred)
