The Breakthrough Results (BTR) approach helps K-12 district partners to achieve and sustain new levels of performance in their schools by focusing on an iterative cycle of change, allowing districts to see results in just 10 weeks. The Breakthrough Results Associate position offers an opportunity to play a critical role fulfilling our firm's mission to improve public education.
LOCATION
This role will be based in DMGroup's Boston office with flexibility to work remotely up to two days a week, based on schedule and team needs.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Support the development of robust program designs that link the district's big strategic goals to concrete SMART goals, conducting historical analysis and benchmarking to inform the approach
Partner with the district to collect data, conduct analysis, process frequent data transfers, and develop weekly/bi-weekly data visualizations that can support teacher teams in making adjustments to their practice on the path to their goals
Coordinate with DMGroup's team of Performance Coaches, working with the project team to ensure they have the data and tools they need to actively coach district teacher teams to strong outcomes
Support the development of a comprehensive, data-rich retrospective after each performance cycle with a client
Provide robust logistical support to Breakthrough Results projects and events, including supporting the planning and launch of each client project, supporting schedule coordination between DMGroup coaches and client teacher teams, etc.
Work collaboratively with internal staff to ensure the continued growth and effectiveness of DMGroup's programs, including our membership network and events, research and publications, software, and consulting
Perform additional duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate should have/be able to:
Bachelor's Degree
Minimum of two years of relevant work experience, preferably with data analysis or management consulting
Knowledge of the K-12 public education landscape
Robust qualitative and quantitative analytical skills
Exceptional project and time management skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in Google and Microsoft product suites, especially Excel, PPT, and G-Suite
Ability to create impactful, information-filled presentations, memos, reports, data visualizations, and other collateral
Strong communication and client relationship development skills

Analysts leverage prior knowledge in addition to current casework to develop the necessary skills for transition into levels of increased responsibility. Analyst Responsibilities

ROLE SUMMARY
Reporting to the Director, Talent Acquisition, the Coordinator, Application Screener will apply Alliance's selection criteria to review initial applications for eligibility for school site roles and conduct phone interviews with prospective candidates to learning more about their credentials and previous experience, and assess their readiness to work for Alliance College-Ready Public Schools. This is a part-time position, expected to spend up to 20 hours per week on assigned duties, with expected work hours Monday through Thursday from 2 pm - 7 pm. The role is anticipated to last until June 30, 2026.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Application Review
Monitor the applicant tracking system in Workday for newly submitted applications
Review written applications for minimum qualifications based on Alliance's selection criteria
Schedule phone interviews with prospective candidates
Conduct initial phone interviews with prospective candidates, taking detailed written notes
Correspond with candidates to review and gather credential information
Provide weekly updates to the Director, Talent Acquisition on screening progress
Training and Operations
Attend all training regarding the selection process for the school year
Communicate with the Director, Talent Acquisition regarding changing trends in the applicant pool
Complete reports in a timely manner
Provide support to the Staffing Team throughout the candidate screening process
THE STRONGEST CANDIDATES WILL
Have experience using Google Suite
Understanding of Applicant tracking systems
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Self-motivated, agile, and organized
Previous teaching experience or experience with recruitment and selection is a plus
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
HS Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) is required; a college degree is preferred.
Prior experience as an application or phone screener is preferred.
WORK LOCATION
This position will work virtually in the greater Los Angeles area, with occasional travel to school sites or the Alliance Home Office.
COMPENSATION
$24.05 - $24.05

A member of the University of Dayton Arena Event Staff will be responsible for welcoming guests, checking that guests possess a valid ticket for entry, prohibiting banned items from entry into the facility, provide directions and information where necessary, assist patrons to their assigned seating locations, ensure that areas are only utilized in accordance with policy, ensure their areas of responsibility are free of debris and hazards, distribute promotional or informational items as required and assist in times of emergency for those events held at the UD Arena, UD Athletics facilities and Welcome Stadium (UD sponsored events only). Minimum Qualifications:
18 yrs or older,
Free of criminal convictions for ANY felony, misdemeanor of violence or misdemeanor of sexual misbehavior,
Must be able to stand for long periods of time and able to negotiate stairs,
Ability to successfully work in a fast-paced and occasionally high-stressed environment,
Ability to work effectively in a large facility, and
Ability to learn and retain multiple policies and instructions.
Preferred Qualifications:
While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:
Possess a pleasant overall demeanor and positive interpersonal skills,
Demonstrated ability to speak professionally and assertively, but NOT aggressively to facility patrons, and
Experienced in successfully using a ticket scanner.
