This position is responsible for installation, maintenance, and improvement of process equipment using machine repair, troubleshooting and metal fabrication skills. The Maintenance Lead Technician must be highly quality conscious, aggressively self-directed, motivated team player and a willing trainer - eager to gain and share new knowledge.
* Primary Responsibilities are, but are not limited to the following:
* Leading and directing maintenance department activity.
* Delegating daily work assignments using PM's and Work Orders and utilizing the eMaint function.
* Auditing the effectiveness of PM's performed by the maintenance department.
* Communicate with outside vendors for maintenance related items, ordering parts, etc.
* Accountable for installation and rebuild projects, ensuring timelines are kept.
* Responsible for inventory tracking and budget conscious purchasing decisions for the department.
* Using technical drawings and schematics, troubleshoot and repair complex process and facilities equipments (e.g., filter machines, packaging machines, scales, conveyors, compressors, generators, etc.).
* Use machine tools, welding equipment, and measuring devices to fabricate machine parts.
* Perform various equipment preventive maintenance tasks (i.e., cleaning, inspection and lubrication) as necessary, but routinely in cases requiring advanced technical expertise and knowledge of safety procedures (e.g., electrical cabinets, machine interiors, lock out/tag out, etc.).
* Thoroughly document maintenance activity using the CMMS, adequately communicate maintenance issues to appropriate employees (e.g., other maintenance techs, operators, engineers, supervisors, etc.), and properly utilize the maintenance inventory system.
* Champion process improvement in assigned areas by analyzing equipment maintenance history, identifying significant causes of waste, coordinating with appropriate employees to develop root-cause solutions, and providing maintenance assistance as necessary.
* Provide Preventative Maintenance support for the facility and equipment.
* Repair and maintain items necessary to maintain process equipment in "Grade A" condition.
* Assist in day-to-day support of operators, adjustments, setups, and changeovers.
* Actively participate in the training of maintenance technicians.
* Assist other maintenance technicians as required.
* Follow all policies, procedures, ergonomic standards and safety requirements directed by OSHA, GMP, AIB, ISO and the department.

**JOB SUMMARY:**
The finishing operator is responsible for the machine setup, adjustments, make-readies, assist with maintenance, troubleshooting quality issues, and operation of their assigned folding gluing machine. While operating the machine, they are responsible for safely and efficiently manufacturing high quality folding cartons at or above target run speeds while minimizing waste and downtime. The machine operator is the leader of the crew and oversees the activities of the feeder packers working on that machine. The operator must obtain and review the job ticket for items, quantities, caliper of the paperboard, and any special instruction that is informational for running the order to specification. The case specification must also be reviewed to make sure that the instructions are clear and concise prior to running the order. The operator is responsible for ensuring all make-readies are put on as quickly as possible. The operator inspects the product quality including folded score caliper, proper gluing and stacking, carton and score alignment, and case fit, and ensures that the machine is in good running condition. The operator ensures that the Leary glue and mix detection system is constantly functioning correctly. The operator is also responsible for shutting down the machine if it is to be left unattended. This position reports to the Finishing Lead, Shift Supervisor and Finishing Manager.

Position Overview
The Maintenance Planner & MRO Parts Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing both the maintenance planning process and the procurement, inventory, and distribution of parts necessary to support production and packaging equipment. This combined role will ensure operational efficiency, with a focus on minimizing downtime, optimizing maintenance costs, and ensuring parts availability for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Safety:
* Promote and enforce Pactiv Evergreen's safety culture by ensuring zero safety issues in the plant.
* Monitor and enforce compliance with plant safety policies, ensuring proper equipment maintenance and safe practices.
* Ensure the correct safety documentation is utilized, in accordance with company policies.
Maintenance Planning:
* Own and manage the CMMS asset hierarchy and preventative maintenance schedules for all facilities, production lines, and support equipment, including packaging systems, material handling, and automation equipment.
* Oversee daily CMMS work order management, including assignment to available maintenance personnel, reviewing work completion, and ensuring timely closure of work orders.
* Collaborate with maintenance, production, and engineering teams to plan, schedule, and execute planned maintenance work, with the goal of maximizing equipment uptime while minimizing costs.
* Package planned work orders into parts kits and ensure availability of required materials before work begins, in coordination with the storeroom team.
* Accurately estimate labor, materials, and equipment costs for all planned maintenance activities.
* Assist in CMMS planning and execution for capital projects and plant upgrades.
* Lead weekly maintenance scheduling meetings with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to ensure work is properly prioritized and resources are allocated effectively.
* Utilize MTBF and root cause analysis methods to drive continuous improvement and eliminate equipment failures.
MRO Parts Management:
* Oversee the procurement, inventory, and management of all parts and materials required for production and maintenance.
* Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of critical spare parts, keeping inventory at optimal levels to prevent production downtime.
* Track parts usage and inventory, working with the storeroom team to manage efficient storage and retrieval of materials.
* Regularly assess parts inventory levels, ensuring critical spares are stocked and non-essential items are minimized.
* Negotiate with suppliers to achieve cost-effective pricing and terms on parts and materials.
* Continuously track parts usage trends and suggest improvements to streamline parts procurement and inventory management.
Qualifications
* High school graduate or equivalent required.
* 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, particularly in packaging equipment or related systems such as electromechanical systems, hydraulic systems, and process water systems.
* Experience with CMMS systems such as Maintenance Connection, MP2, Maximo, or similar systems is preferred.
* Familiarity with SAP systems is preferred.

A. Position Summary
To safely operate and maintain a Marquip sheeter in order to cut quality sheets efficiently.
B. Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Safely perform the following operations and demonstrate, by meeting production standards, your capability to perform the operations during continuous production.
* Safely and effectively operate Marquip sheeter at targeted speeds and production output requirements.
* Operate machine controls and operation; including conveyor system at delivery, job changeovers, resetting of cutting knife, make ready and run of production jobs, daily and basic maintenance of equipment, knife changes and oversight of/assist with work performed by Roll Tender.
* Learn all quality requirements of sheeted loads and inspect all loads for these requirements.

**Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift**

The position installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems, following specifications, blueprints, manuals, and schematic drawings, using hand tools, power tools, crane, forklift, precision measuring and testing instruments, etc. Initiates and supports plant downtime reduction. Coordinates work activities with department leadership.
**Job Functions**
+ Troubleshooting: Confers with operators and observes, listens for unusual sounds, tests, and evaluates operation of machinery and equipment to diagnose cause of malfunction
+ Disassembles machinery and equipment to gain access and remove defective parts, make repairs, and then reassemble
+ Installs, repairs, replaces, changes, adjusts, and aligns components of machinery and equipment
+ Test-runs repaired machinery and equipment to verify adequacy of repairs
+ Performs RCFAs (Root Cause Failure Analysis) on equipment failures
+ Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of equipment and machinery
+ Examines parts for defects, such as breakage or excessive wear
+ Completes daily work orders within the time frame specified on the work order
+ Installs machinery and equipment
+ Performs routine preventative maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, and the physical condition of the building does not deteriorate
+ Inspects drives, motors and belts, checks fluid levels, replaces filters, and performs other maintenance functions, following checklists.
+ Transports machine parts, tools, equipment and other material between work areas and storage using carts, fork truck, lift, pallet jack, etc.

**Role**
+ In accordance with company policies and procedures, work to ensure quality cartons are produced, machine speeds and customer standards are maintained safely.
**Responsibilities**
+ Knowledge and experience with operating Bobst Die Cutters 145 and 162.
+ Responsible for press make ready: adjust press to accommodate for new product sheets being cut (set feeder, lock up die, set stripper, blanker, and delivery).
+ Be able to set guides, feeders and load dies (weighing approx. 150 lbs.) into cutting press with assistance.
+ Inspect quality of each load run: responsible for checking random sheets from each cut load to ensure high quality standards.
+ When cutting problems are encountered, the Operator is to flag and isolate poorly produced materials (all defective loads are to be tagged).
+ Operator is to make proper corrections before continuing the order.
+ Must be able to perform Pre-Make ready and Die-Prep duties
+ Maintain written records of production. Records of waste, production time, waiting time etc. are to be kept.
+ Responsible for running die cutter as efficiently as possible and perform preventative maintenance (PM) on all cutters.
+ Maintain good housekeeping in the work area.
+ Verification of materials running on load.
+ Assist in training and orientation of new operators/operator trainees assigned to the machine center.

The Offset Printing Press Operator role is responsible for safely operating and maintaining an Offset Printing Press to efficiently and effectively manufacture folding cartons.

Feeder Packer - $17.51 per hour (entry level)
Shift Differential (2nd & 3rd shift): $2.00 per hour
This is a production position on a folder gluer machine. The Feeder Packer performs multiple duties such as feeding the machine with printed blanks/flat cartons to be formed and glued, constructs boxes, removes newly made cartons, stacks boxes of cartons, etc. Works as a team under the direction of the machine operator, Finishing Lead/Area Manager.
The position is physically demanding and requires the employee to lift up to 50 lbs multiple times in an 8 - 12 hour shift.
