Federated provides an exceptional training program to teach you the fundamentals of claims and will prepare you to assist clients. This is an in-office position that will work out of our Atlanta, GA office, located at 5607 Glenridge Drive. A work from home option is not available. Responsibilities * Work with policyholders, attorneys, contractors and others to ensure claims are resolved in a prompt, fair and courteous way. * Explain policy coverage to policyholders and third parties. * Complete thorough investigations and document facts relating to claims. * Determine the value of damaged items or accurately pay first party property loss benefits. * Resolve claims, which may include paying, settling, or denying claims, defending policyholders in court, compromising or recovering outstanding dollars. Minimum Qualifications * Current pursuing, or have obtained a four-year degree * Experience in a customer service role in industries such as retail, hospitality, logistics, banking, equipment dealerships, equipment rental, sales or similar fields * Ability to make confident decisions based on available information * Strong analytical, computer, and time management skills * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Leadership experience is a plus Salary Range: $63,800 - $78,000 Pay may vary depending on job-related factors and individual experience, skills, knowledge, etc. More information can be discussed with a with a member of the Recruiting team.
