* Ensure appropriate workforce and processes are in place in order to sustain Business SLA’s and KPI’s for claims activity
* Provides leadership, coaching and development of Claims Specialists and other staff as needed in order to ensure adequate resources are being utilized to process claims in a timely manner
* Handles complex and escalated claim problems as well as processing claims during times of high volume as well as continued collection efforts on outstanding funds owed from current and previous claims activity
* Develop sufficient reporting that will enable the team to communicate vital metrics to associated stakeholders
* Determine areas of process improvement and effectively deploy solutions that lead to increased efficiencies and cost management
* Develop and maintain all reporting as well as determine and create new and ad hoc reporting based on overall company needs including meeting all required Legal documentation as well as directly working with Legal on any claims that may, or could have any legal ramifications
* Effectively communicate within the various business units affected by claims activity in order to ensure appropriate visibility and activity is taken on items that pose a risk to the business and operation
