Solicit Subcontractor and/or Vendor quotes and evaluate them for scope and qualifications to ensure full scope coverage when submitting proposals as General Contractor.
Perform risk and contract management responsibilities as required on bids.
Prepare responses to Request for Qualifications and Request for Proposals.
Monitor comparison of estimated costs to actual costs on current projects to refine future bidding accuracy.

Foster relationships with design firms and owners to secure repeat business for Tekton BSG.
Basic Qualifications
Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering (Civil, Structural, or Architectural preferred), building science, construction management, or a related discipline.
4+ years of construction experience with a general contractor or specialty subcontractor experience, with direct project management and estimator experience.
Experience managing projects successfully and a proven ability to perform detailed takeoffs, read complex contract drawings, and price labor/materials for interior trades.
Resourceful in evolving environments, comfortable in taking initiative, highly organized, and driven to grow a business.
Strong work ethic, leadership, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Alignment to our 3 Keys to Success: Enthusiasm & Drive, Delivery & Performance, and Learn & Grow.
The Physical Side of the Role
You will work in both an office setting and on active construction sites. In the office, you should be comfortable in a professional setting and with prolonged periods of focused work, whether it's collaborating with colleagues, analyzing data, or developing strategies. On the jobsite, you can expect to be on your feet frequently, navigating active job sites with uneven terrain, stairs, ladders, and hoists. The work is physically demanding and requires a full range of motion, including bending, kneeling, and reaching. Your Work Environment
You will spend both in an office setting workspace and on active construction site visits. This means being adaptable to all kinds of environments. Your safety is our top priority, and you'll be expected to follow Tekton's safety policies and procedures, and all applicable laws, at all locations.
Our High-Performing Culture
This is a demanding, high-performance environment. We are looking for candidates who are energized by challenge, thrive under pressure, and are prepared to do what it takes to achieve exceptional results. Beyond regular working hours, there will be occasions where business needs require your attention, particularly for time-sensitive matters or emergencies. You are expected to monitor and respond to communications (phone calls, emails, text messages) as required to address these situations effectively. Your ability to manage these expectations and be responsive when critical issues arise is key to your success in this role and our collective success as a team.
