Essential Functions / Key Responsibilities:
Operate heavy machinery and equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, graders, and cranes on heavy civil construction projects.
Perform daily equipment inspections to ensure operational safety and reliability.
Coordinate with the construction team to excavate, move, and grade earth, erect structures, and pave roads and highways.
Adhere to and promote safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
Identify and report potential safety hazards, concerns, or incidents immediately.
Communicate and work with team members to coordinate tasks and maintain a productive work environment.
Regular and punctual attendance.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Experience operating heavy vehicles in a construction environment.
OSHA 10 certification.
Additional certifications for specialized equipment may be required (crane, boom truck).
Ability and willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Ability to walk, stand, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, sit, climb, work in challenging environments and on uneven surfaces, and perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials (up to 50 pounds).
Ability to remain alert and see, hear, and respond to team members and the surrounding environment in highly safety sensitive working conditions and near large heavy civil equipment and/or live traffic.

Qualifications Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Experience with estimation software (e.g., Agtek Gradework, Highway, Underground and Materials, AutoCAD, HCSS HeavyBid, and/or Bid2Win, Bluebeam Revu)
Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Review major electrical, power and distribution safety incidents using root cause analysis and serious event reviews; provide a high level of support for safety specifically with safety observations, assessments, and audits.
Provide technical expertise in the fields of in the field of electrical, power distribution, motors and transformers, arc flash study, electrical tests, electrical and instrumentation codes, selectivity study, and instrumentation.
Clarify plant needs regarding the technical expertise required for complex electrical, power and distribution needs, issues lined to design, operations, troubleshooting and maintenance, and request additional support from Corporate Cement Excellence - Manufacturing Team when needed.
Agree on electrical, power, and distribution audits to be performed in the region with corporate and lead or support as needed to identify weak areas and potential; identify improvement opportunities to maximize equipment life cycle and efficiency.
Support the planning, execution and supervision of complex jobs during major overhauls and provide appropriate information on equipment malfunctions or failures.
Collaborate with Project Management and Engineering in new projects and carry out design reviews on new and critical electrical, power and distribution equipment to ensure maintainability.
Advise operations in developing an optimal replacement strategy for the main electrical, power and distribution equipment and identify and recommend critical spare parts and follow up implementation; collaborate with the regional purchasing team in optimizing sourcing of electrical, power and distribution equipment and parts, materials and services.
Roll out new preventive maintenance routine and techniques, train others, and monitor progress
Provide regional or country experience back to Corporate to enrich know how and share best practices in electrical, power, distribution equipment expertise

Lamp Rynearson is looking for a Water and/or Wastewater Process Engineer to join our Water Services Group in Kansas City, MO. Working with a team of engineers in KC and other offices, you would deliver quality projects and provide solutions for our clients' water needs for drinking water and wastewater treatment.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for managing and assisting with projects through planning, design, and construction phases
* Mentor project engineers and advise project managers, maintain project schedules and budgets, and produce documents in accordance with project scopes and quality program procedures
* Additional duties could include technical investigation and analysis of various detailed studies, coordinating with sub-consultants, and preparing reports relating water and wastewater treatment facilities and processes
* Project types could include water and wastewater treatment facilities and related infrastructure projects
* Work directly with clients on the projects and tasks that you are leading, developing long term client relationships
* Develop relationships with local clients, support business development efforts, and help in the pursuit of new projects may be required
Required Qualifications
* BS in Civil, Chemical, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline. Masters a plus
* Must have a PE license in any state, and the ability to obtain licensure in Kansas or Missouri within 90 days if not already licensed there
* Experience in water and/or wastewater process project design
* Must have excellent communication, leadership and planning skills, and ability to thrive in a team environment
* Microsoft Office Suite experience
* Must have strong skills in preparing client presentations, project memoranda and reports
* Attitude and commitment to be an active participant of employee-owned culture is a must
