Ensures that all shipping documents (manifest, bills of lading, delivery receipts, hazardous material placarding, etc.) required to move the shipment is available and complete. Performs all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures; and complies with all Federal, State, and local regulations for the safe operation of a commercial motor vehicle. Maintains records as required, including drivers logs, vehicle inspections, and other reports. Reports any and all safety hazards. Under the direction of Lead Wastewater Plant Operator(s) and Wastewater Plant Supervisor (depending on the size and scope of the facility), the Transport Driver performs wastewater transportation operations, and associated maintenance and monitoring activities; performs work assignments to ensure performance, acceptable asset condition, quality, and health and safety standards are met or exceeded; and performs related work as required to ensure efficient and effective operations. This position is responsible for the efficient transport of materials to/from wastewater treatment facilities to/from landfills, warehouses, and other locations. Section 3 - Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Requires a valid Texas Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL).
