Check vehicles and equipment for correct operation and must be knowledgeable of cargo securement rules to ensure that every load is properly secured before transport. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks and trailers and refuel vehicles as required. Perform general housekeeping and grounds maintenance of vehicle parking areas. Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: High School Diploma or equivalent and 5 years' experience transporting heavy loads on multiple types of trailers along with a safe driving record and history. Prompt daily attendance and forklift experience preferred. Valid Class “A” CDL Driver's license with Hazmat endorsement.
