Job Summary
Responsible for safely driving a tractor trailer combination vehicle in and around the city, state, job sites and company property; and for the safe and efficient loading and unloading of product.
Job Responsibilities
Safely drive truck to and from destination applying knowledge of DOT driving regulations and area roads
Check loads to ensure product is being hauled in an appropriate and safe manner
Verify directions with plant personnel before leaving the plant to ensure delivery to the correct customer and job site
Strive to meet customer expectations without exception and achieve highly positive customer satisfaction survey results consistent with strategic objectives
Develop extensive working relationships with customers, both external and internal, in order to maximize opportunities for CEMEX and to ensure customer needs are addressed
Keep equipment in acceptable condition of cleanliness using approved cleaning materials and supplies
Maintain personal appearance in neat and clean manner.
Maintain contact with supervisor/dispatch to receive and transmit delivery instructions
Assist other company employees as needed
Complete pre and post-trip inspections on truck equipment and supplies, such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil and water

JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for safely transporting material from a clients' location and to an assigned destination for processing or disposal. Performs necessary tasks to load and unload material utilizing commercial trucks and/or heavy/agricultural equipment. (May include tankers and end dump trailers in an off road environment.)
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Complete a daily truck log and submit reports of mileage covered at EOD
2. Serve as a brand advocate and ambassador in every interaction with clients and the public
3. Conduct daily inspections and perform preventative maintenance on the truck/equipment
4. Comply with all DOT, state, local and in-house regulations, procedures, and rules
5. Operate truck/equipment in a safe manner at all times
6. Perform loading, unloading, and timely delivery of material to assigned/approved destination
7. Travel from job site to job site or plant to job site. May involve overnight travel- More than 75% travel
8. Clean bio-solids off truck/equipment before leaving the field site or landfill
9. Perform shop clean up, maintenance, and equipment/tools setup

First, we will pre-qualify you over the phone. If you qualify, you will complete an enrollment application online. Please allow 24-48 hours processing time.
Next, once you are approved, we will get you set up for orientation. All orientations are being held online & can be completed in 2-3 hours. After you complete orientation, we will make arrangements for you to go out with a trainer for a 2 week paid training.
When your 2 week training is completed, you will then be assigned to your own truck for a probationary period of 10 weeks.
After those 10 weeks, you will then be eligible to go right into a dedicated, regional or OTR run, which will give you bigger paychecks, quarterly safety bonuses, as well as layover & detention pay. Most drivers average $900 - $1200 per week
All of our equipment is newer & well-maintained. We offer both automatic & 10 speed trucks. We also accept automatic license restrictions.
