Operate a commercial vehicle to transport product between two local destinations while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver frozen and/or refrigerated freight to and from local locations
• Provide excellent customer service to our customers while delivering quality products to each location and/or store
• Maintain schedule to ensure on time pick-up and delivery; may be required to read out the digital tachograph timely
• Account for and inspect freight to prevent rejection or potential claim issues; may include checking the loading temperature and monitoring it during transport
• Ensure accuracy of paperwork with the delivery and that all requirements are met in coordination with the dispatch and operations departments
• Maintain accurate and up to date driver logs for hours of service and equipment maintenance

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)

• 18 month's operating a Class A commercial vehicle experience
• Valid license(s) for commercial/professional drivers
• Ability to understand instructions in Country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear
• May be required to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.; weight may be more dependent upon facility
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
• Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud

As a skilled CDL Driver, you will need 2+ years' experience in commercial driving. You may cross state lines during the day but this driver job never has you out overnight. In addition you will:
Responsible for general inspection of company truck, including minor maintenance as needed.
Complete required DOT paperwork (i.e. Driver Logs, Trip, Records, Required Vehicle Inspection Reports)
Responsible for prompt and accurate pickup and delivery of customer's parts and related materials, practicing safe driving standards asset by state law.
Responsible for preparing jobs for shipment, loading and unloading trucks in a safe and careful manner.
Must maintain professional demeanor and appearance at all times as determined by the company.

We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
This position must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements, therefore candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Resident Card Holder.
Education - High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Minimum two years' experience in commercial driving
Must have current CDL, be able to produce and maintain clean driving record, and obtain and maintain forklift operator certificate.
Must maintain a current DOT standard Medical Certificate (excluding approved waiver)
May be required to work overtime or any shift, including weekends
Must demonstrate the ability to read, write and communicate the English language.

Job DescriptionWe are looking for a safety conscience Class A CDL Driver to join the team in Frederickson, WA.

Schedule will be Sun - Wed with a 6:00am - 6:30am start time. Competitive Wages start at $31.00/HR .

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Driving Tractor Trailer with a dedicated local route. Manual transmission utilized in tractor/trailer equipment.
• Possibility for training on Roll Off.
• Perform routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles such as checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires.
• Ability to perform a physically demanding job, lifting up to 50lbs on a regular basis
• Courteous interaction with our customers and perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:

• Climbing in and out of the cab up to 40+ times/day.
• Work environment involves some exposure to physical risks such as moving mechanical parts. Which require following basic safety precautions.
• The employee is exposed to outside weather, including frequent wet and/or humid conditions, as well as exposure to fumes and vibration. Noise level is usually moderate.
• Will be working in all weather conditions

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid Class A CDL
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to learn and use interpersonal skills relating to quality customer service
• As verified by a current MVR/driver abstract, all qualifications as defined under DOT regulation 49 CFR 383.51 must be met
• Would like to see at least 3 years Class A commercial driving experience, preferably with 53' trailers.
• Clean safety and driving record
• Able to work in all weather conditions
• Ability to deal with the physicality of the job with no issues.
• Basic knowledge of truck components in order to complete pre- and post-trip inspections.
