A Day in the Life:
Safely drive and operate a Class A tractor-trailer or other commercial vehicles.

The Transport Driver operates a tractor with a tanker trailer to pick up the product from the supplier and deliver to contracted facilities, following safety guidelines, industry regulations, as well as company protocols and procedures.
Responsibilities
Ensure health and safety by following all industry standards and regulations, and company policies and procedures.
Perform safe loading and unloading procedures
Conduct vehicle pre and post inspections to prevent damage/injury
Complete pickups and deliveries at designated locations
Log and maintain accurate driving and inspection logs, and other applicable reports
Follow all local, state and federal compliance regulations and rules
Maintain efficient communication with dispatch and other operation personnel
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Must have Class A License with Hazmat & Tanker endorsements.
Doubles/Triples endorsement
Must have or be able to obtain TWIC card
Must meet state and federal regulations and DOT requirements
Acceptable driving record required
Flexibility with schedule and ability to travel
Prefer 2+ years fuel transportation experience
Job Offer and Continued Employment Contingent On
Ability to maintain requirements and remain in compliance with licenses, and certifications
Ability to operate company vehicle(s) in a safe and efficient manner.

POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for transporting employees, residents and donation pick-ups.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Provide shuttle services
Maintain records by completing driver logs
Maintain safe vehicle operation
Pick up in kind donations from various donors/locations and load in vehicle
Assist as needed in loading dock and warehouse
Carry other tasks and projects as assigned by the Supply Chain and Logistics Manager and Transportation/Warehouse Supervisor.

Must have a valid CDL "Class B" with passenger endorsement
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats
Must be able to see, hear, speak and write clearly in order to communicate with others
Must have a clean driving record and be insurable under the company's auto insurance policy
You will be required to submit to a random drug test required by California Department of Transportation
