Reports undisciplined students to the proper authority. Keeps assigned bus clean. Checks bus before each operation for mechanical defects. Notifies the proper authority in case of mechanical failure or lateness. Discharges students only at authorized stops. Transports only authorized students. Reports all accidents and completed required reports. Stays current with state rules and regulations pertaining to driving and transporting students. Other: School Bus Driver is a non-exempt hourly paid position and is required to clock in and out to ensure accurate record keeping to comply with Department of Labor standards.
