Responsibilities • Inpatient rehab setting working with adults and geriatric patients, with occasional pediatric and adolescent cases • Typical diagnoses include joint replacements, CVA, pain, fractures, neurological conditions, deconditioning, and vestibular issues • Four 10-hour shifts per week from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with flexibility for five 8-hour shifts if preferred • Required to work one Saturday per month in inpatient/acute rehab with a day off provided during that week • Therapist to patient ratio is 1:4 • Evaluations are allotted one hour and treatments 45 minutes • Care team includes seasoned PTAs, ST, and OT professionals • Uses Cerner for charting, prior Cerner experience preferred • Duties include evaluation and treatment of a broad range of adult diagnoses in a team-oriented environment • First-time travelers will be considered for this position • No on-call or floating required • Block scheduling is not applicable to this role • Scrub attire should not be blue, forest green, or maroon; unit T-shirts available and tie-dyeing at lunch is encouraged • Perm employees must wait two years after leaving before returning as a traveler • No restrictions on requested time off • Clinic located near a variety of outdoor activities including hiking, rafting, and mountain climbing Requirements • Current WV PT license required prior to start; pending state license accepted for consideration • Minimum of one year recent inpatient rehab physical therapy experience • Current BLS certification required • Flu vaccination required during flu season unless a documented medical exemption is provided • Must provide two recent manager or charge references from the past two years • Driver's license and SSN required for consideration Benefits • High Pay and Bonuses • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options • 401(k) Plan • Weekly Payroll Deposit • Free Online CEUs • Generous Housing Allowance • Travel and Licensure Reimbursements • Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy • Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID #P.
