The Community-Based Child and Family Educator (CFE) supports families and children across partner sites in the Denver Metro area. This role focuses on helping families set and achieve goals, providing resources, and ensuring children's healthy development. CFEs collaborate with families, educators, and community partners to promote school readiness and overall well-being.

What we want you to do:
Implements programs to meet student's needs and ensures parents are involved in the student's development; conducts ongoing assessments and maintains documentation of the student's progress; performs developmental screening of all students; develops weekly plans from results of ongoing assessment
Implements case management and support to families; facilitates the identification of family's personal and family goals; completes and monitors the family partnership agreement; refers students showing delays for developmental screenings
Functions as a service planner for families; provides information to them on child development, health education, etc.; provides crisis intervention to families around child abuse, domestic violence, emergency food, housing needs, etc.; communicates program expectations and goals
Coordinates opportunities for family participation in parent meetings, volunteer opportunities, events, etc.; plans and carries out events including such details as room reservation, speakers, activities for families, childcare, transportation, etc.
Conducts home visits and works with internal stakeholders to ensure appropriate program and support services are established for each student; continually evaluates ways to best serve families
Creates and provides reports, tools or forms to families or internal stakeholders; maintains accurate documentation of caseload
Collaboration and Educational Support
Communicates regularly and works in an Interdisciplinary manner with parents and internal stakeholders
Partners with families to ensure student attendance is 85% or better
Assists the internal team in implementing behavior strategies and plans with parents as needed
Provides support and/or coverage to the classroom as needed
Compliance
Collaborates with health service staff to monitor compliance with health requirements; guides families in the acquisition and use of medical and dental services
Completes and monitors all forms, tools, program documentation etc. in a timely manner and in compliance with all local, state, and federal requirements
Provides regular objective case notes and records of contact and communications with families in COPA
What we are looking for and what you must have:
Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Family Development, or related field required
Experience: 1+ years of experience in child facing roles
Certifications or Licenses
CPR Certification

Key Responsibilities & Duties
Student Development Management
Coaches teaching team to develop their knowledge, skills, and abilities to increase successful student and family outcomes.
Oversees the development and implementation of programs and strategies through curriculum, assessment, and data utilization;
Coaches internal and external teams to utilize appropriate curriculum using a research-based coaching model that emphasizes the analysis and application of child and program quality data to improve the delivery of instruction and other services to achieve targeted child, family and program outcomes
Ensures that ethnic and cultural backgrounds are appropriately recognized and integrated into the curriculum, classroom socializations, programs, and services; provides opportunities for cultural competency development activities
Ensures Educare Learning Network core features are implemented and maintained
Utilizes an interdisciplinary approach to support stakeholders in improving family outcomes as they coach parents to use developmentally appropriate educational, parenting, and problem-solving strategies, and guide families toward self-sufficiency
Monitors the delivery of systematic and integrated comprehensive program services to ensure students are school ready as defined in the school readiness goals and developmental framework
Influences and supports parents' involvements as the primary teacher of their students
Program & Curriculum Compliance
Ensures program operations and compliance with all applicable quality standards which may include HIPPY USA Model Standards, Head Start and Early Head Start Performance Standards, ITERs NAEYC Standards, Educare Core Competencies, Qualistar Rating, CCAP, as well as state and local regulations
Contributes to year-long training development plan and provides staff professional learning (when relevant) in their area(s) of expertise.
Ensures EHS and HS grant requirements, reports and evaluations are met and completed within timeframe outlined in the grants
Cultivate a departmental (remove departmental) culture of data usage for continuous learning to improve performance and innovation and strategically collaborate with organizational workgroups focused on continuous quality improvement to enact process and outcome improvement projects
Supports the planning process of lead teachers as they prepare for collaboration among their teams and professional learning experiences;
Identifies 2-3 model classrooms or learning labs for teachers to observe effective instructional practice
Reviews monthly monitoring and tracking reports to ensure quality benchmarks are met including lesson plans, assessments, screenings, home-visits, parent-teacher conferences, child/family reviews, Family Partnership Agreements (FPAs), attendance, performance standard requirements and the implementation of quality services for students and families
Ensures team is using data driven dialogue and decision making to inform their practice both internally and with families
Monitors compliance of regulations and works with internal stakeholders to implement changes to compliance standards
Tracks and monitors all program funding sources per contract or grant requirements
Reviews current program materials including forms, tools, documentation, etc. and compares against compliance and regulations
Maintains working knowledge of crisis and intervention offerings, health requirements and partnerships
Department Team Collaboration
Develops and provides ongoing quality improvement opportunities for their team and cultivates a coaching relationship that advances best practice skills and competencies
Builds and maintains positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels including employees, students, families, and visitors
Collaborates with internal stakeholders to provide opportunities for professional growth and classroom training; disseminates pertinent training program information and materials to their team
Diagnose staff needs using assessment data and observations to implement a continuous learning cycle

Summer Camp Educators will work either 20 or 40 hours/week, depending on whether they are support staff or in-workshop for a camp that week. They will spend some of their time in orientation/training, as well as reviewing lesson plans to prepare for their in-camp experience. Camp sessions run from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm. Summer Camp Educators are expected to report from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm to prepare their classrooms before camp and to clean up after each day.

What You'll Do
As a Summer Camp Educator, you will be responsible for assisting with the implementation of art-based lesson plans that connect to the DAM collection. You will guide up to 24 campers through in-gallery experiences and art projects relating to these experiences. You are expected to anticipate the needs of the workshop, and to jump in as needed to support the campers and Lead Teacher throughout the day. The Manager of Youth Programs and Summer Camp Assistant may direct you to this end. You will:
Facilitate check-in and check-out of campers each day from the workshops
Organize activities to engage campers while they wait for the camp day to begin or while they wait to be picked up (provided by the DAM)
Prepare for facilitating camps, including reviewing lesson plans from Lead Teachers
Work collaboratively in camps with a Lead Teacher assigned by the DAM
Greet students and track attendance
Support campers in the galleries to help them engage with art and ensure gallery-safe behaviors
Integrate an educational practice that centers equity, diversity and inclusion in their camp
Support students with artmaking projects
Supervise campers' lunch to keep kids safe as they eat and play (this task will only be expected during Support Weeks i.e. weeks with limited time in-camp and more time dedicated to preparation, floating, and additional support)
Support Lead Teachers in the use of effective and compassionate classroom management techniques
Work with campers and Lead Teachers to navigate students' social-emotional needs, including individual interventions as necessary

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:
The attending obstetric anesthesiologist administers care alone or supervises physicians-in-training (residents), certified registered nurse anesthetists and certified anesthesiologist assistants. When working alone, he/she/they examines the patient before and after anesthesia, writes pre and post anesthesia orders, confirms that the patient is ready for anesthesia before induction, manages the anesthetic period, and follows the patient as long as is appropriate in the post anesthesia period.
This role involves providing comprehensive anesthesia care for high-risk obstetric patients, including labor analgesia, managing perioperative care during obstetric procedures, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal maternal and fetal outcomes. Additionally, the obstetric anesthesiologist will provide solo obstetric and fetal anesthesia care at the Colorado Fetal Care Center, located at the Children's Hospital Colorado on the Anschutz Medical Campus. This position offers ample opportunities for clinical education, as well as potential leadership roles in various academic and clinical settings. The position is full-time and will be assigned clinical duties in any of the University of Colorado School of Medicine affiliated hospitals to include University of Colorado Hospital affiliates.
The candidate must have a strong working and theoretical knowledge of Anesthesiology and Peri-operative Medicine, experience in teaching Anesthesiology, and a fellowship in Obstetric Anesthesiology.
As an attending anesthesiologist, the candidate may be required to perform these services in the operating room, in the labor and delivery area, in radiology, and in the outpatient procedure center. Except in specific emergency situations, the administration of anesthesia is limited to areas where anesthesia can be given safely. One or more attendings will be available at all times to provide these services.
As faculty members of the School of Medicine, candidates are also expected to contribute to the teaching needs of the Department and the School. Consult Assistance

The Department of Pathology at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is seeking an experienced AP/CP board certified pathologist at the rank of Instructor to work at the Highlands Ranch (HRH) UCHealth location in south metro Denver.
HRH is a full-service community hospital with an especially high volume of cancer care, an NAPBC accredited Breast Center and an association with the NCI designated Comprehensive Cancer Center of Colorado located on the Anschutz Medical Campus. While HRH provides an array of surgical pathology cases, the most common specimens are GI, prostate, and breast biopsies and head & neck, breast, prostate, and gynecologic cancer resections. Experience in frozen sections and general surgical pathology is necessary and subspecialty training is favored.
Case volumes include ~11,000 surgical cases, ~2,200 frozen section specimens, ~1,500 non-gyn cytology cases yearly. PAs perform gross. IHC is performed on site. No autopsies.

What we want you to do:
In accordance with Head Start performance standards, ACF, licensing and organization guidelines, implement an individualized early education program that is based on children's strengths and needs.
Conduct ongoing assessment of children and maintain documentation of each child's progress.
Perform a developmental screening of all children with 45 days of enrollment.
Develop weekly instructional plans guided by results of ongoing assessment.
Implement family and community partnership services for families enrolled in Clayton Early Learning programs.
Provide case management services and support families in moving toward self-sufficiency.
Facilitate the identification and codifying of personal and family goals.
Complete and monitor the family partnership agreements.
Assist parents in identifying and working with public/private agencies
Provide crisis intervention to families including, but not limited to, child abuse, domestic violence and emergency food and housing needs.
Meet weekly with supervisor to plan and evaluate home visits. Consult with appropriate staff as needed to better serve individual families.
Collaborate with health service staff to ensure and monitor compliance with child health requirements. Guide families in the acquisition and use of medical and dental services.
Complete all forms and monitoring tools in a timely and accurate manner.
Maintain regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule and Clayton Early Learning policies.
Demonstrate responsible professional behavior by participating effectively within and across teams.
Actively participate in training programs, workshops, and meetings concerning teaching methods, approaches, and other topics relating to the early childhood development component.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What you must have:
Education:
BA in Early Childhood Education or related field OR a CDA certification.

Experience:
