Some Key Areas of Responsibility include:


Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying the issues raised by co-workers and guests Must be able to work unsupervised Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-orientated manner Follow all hotel and department procedures and policies Report emergencies and unusual situations immediately Handle guest room maintenance requests in a timely fashion Assist with the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment Change out light bulbs, and perform preventative maintenance for guest rooms, including vinyl repair, touch-up paint, minor furniture repair, tub caulking, tile repairs, etc. Perform preventative maintenance for ice machines, refrigerators, kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, HVAC, guest rooms, meeting rooms, the swimming pool, and hot tub Perform plumbing repair, laundry equipment repair, preventative maintenance on all exhaust fans and supply, monitor energy conservation, repair vacuum cleaners and any other small equipment upon request Immediately follow up on any alarms to determine the exact location and cause- determine emergency status and report to the front desk with findings Point out and assist with eliminating safety concerns Assist in the maintenance of health code requirements for pool Must be able to assist in other departments if needed Maintain regular attendance as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the hotel Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working (per brand standard)


Requirements:


High school diploma or equivalent GED Applicants must have 2-4 years of experience in maintenance Experience with facilities management software is preferred Valid driver's license and good driving record required This position requires occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand during the entire shift Must have strong organizational, communications, and interpersonal skills Applicants must be able to work weekends & holidays.

Mr. Rehab LLC has an exciting opportunity for an experienced CCTV/Cleaning Operator (Jet Vac Operator) for their CIPP pipelining and sewer rehabilitation project operations. Mr. Rehab is based in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, but projects are located across Pennsylvania and throughout the Mid-Atlantic. Field staff get the exciting opportunity to travel, with all expenses paid. We are offering up to a $5,000 Sign-on bonus based on experience!!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Works on a wide range of services, including cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) lining and repair; CCTV inspections and pipeline cleaning, manhole rehabilitation; and mainline and lateral grouting.
  • Operate a truck-mounted closed-circuit television (CCTV) and/or jet vac cleaning equipment
  • Documentation of CCTV work performed with computer-based specialized software such as Wincan
  • Operator is typically responsible for the supervision of one or more assistants and must interact directly with the customer or customer representatives on the job site
  • Work with assigned field personnel and crews, as directed
  • Follow standard safety procedures
  • Work with and operate equipment, as directed in the field

Candidate Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in CCTV and/or cleaning operations
  • Must possess a Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL), and have a clean driving record
  • Expertise in additional sewer rehab industry disciplines is a plus
  • Must be able to travel as 70% of projects are out of town and require overnight lodging away from home ranging from 1 to 5 consecutive days (expenses are paid)
  • High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability
  • Must be reliable and self-motivated with a positive attitude and team spirit
  • Must consent to a criminal background check, pass a pre-employment drug screen, and possess clear MVR
  • Perform physically demanding tasks under pressure, including but not limited to: lifting heavy hoses and equipment; working in confined spaces; working long hours in all extremes of weather
