As the Cleaner, you will be responsible for general housekeeping duties to maintain the cleanliness of the community. Build strong rapport with residents of the community. Clean offices, bathrooms, amenity spaces and common areas daily. Clean office spaces on a regular schedule that is set by the Maintenance Supervisor. Using the apartment cleaning checklist, clean vacant apartment homes after each move out. Clean and organize the pool house. Tasks include straightening of the chairs on the pool deck, cleaning of the pool house public bathrooms (to include showers), and vacuuming and dusting of the amenity spaces attached to the pool house building. Remove used towels in the pool area and replace them with freshly laundered towels daily. Maintain all cleaning equipment and supplies. Assist in removing debris from outside public spaces, amenity spaces, and common area, and empty public trash cans. Clean elevator cab, lobby, and door tracks as regularly scheduled by the Maintenance Supervisor. Comply with all company policies/procedures and Fair Housing laws. Dust high and low surfaces, clean/polish soiled surfaces. Vacuum carpets, perform light spot removal, and wash windows and glass surfaces. **Specialized Cleaning:** + Monitor and maintain carpet and floor appearances. Perform carpet spot and deep cleaning. Manual scrub, buff, strip, and refinish floors. **Restroom Maintenance:** + Clean and sanitize restrooms (toilets, sinks, mirrors). Restock supplies (toilet paper, soap, paper towels). **Disinfection:** + Sanitize high-touch surfaces (door handles, light switches, handrails). Clean and disinfect common areas. **Equipment Care:** + Inspect equipment for cleanliness. + Perform minor repairs and maintenance. **Exterior Duties:** + Remove debris and litter from grounds and walkways. **Support Tasks:** + Report maintenance issues or safety hazards. Assist with setup/cleanup for special events. Compliance: Follow federal facility cleaning protocols and regulations. Reports to Lead Custodian. SUMMARY:This position is responsible for the washing and de-greasing of the exterior of the aircraft. The person in this position is also responsible for the vacuuming and general cleaning of the interior of the aircraft. Upkeep of the hangar workspace and sweeping of floors will also be required. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:• Train on material usage, safety practices and general knowledge of how to clean interior and exterior of aircraft• Perform daily cleaning of both interior and exterior of aircraft as directed by maintenance supervisor/lead.• Alert supervisor/lead of any discrepancies found or made during the cleaning process• Check to see that equipment chocks are installed on wheels, and that aircraft control's are locked• Ask manager for next assignment when done cleaning• Move aircraft in and out of hanger using golf cart to tow• Switch and position aircraft in hanger and on ramp• Nightly stacking of hanger• Remove any debris from ramp and clean ramp• Additional duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS:• Must be at least 16 years old• Must have a flexible schedule and be willing to work any and all shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays• Must be able to lift 40 lbs.• Must be able to perform moderately strenuous physical tasks which include bending, stooping, kneeling and working overhead for long periods of time• Must hold a valid US driver's license• Must take instruction and guidance well• Ability to interact effectively with others• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing work priorities• Must be goal oriented, have an exceptional attention to detail, and must work well in team situations and also as an individual• Must exhibit exceptional knowledge of Cape Air and must embody the Cape Air MOCHA HAGoTDI spirit
