The Position:
We are seeking a people-focused Cleaner for our 55 and older, active adult community - Affinity at Olympia. As the Cleaner, you will be responsible for general housekeeping duties to maintain the cleanliness of the community.
Maintain a community culture focused on enhancing our residents' way of life while providing excellent customer service and a supportive home environment.
Build strong rapport with residents of the community.
Clean offices, bathrooms, amenity spaces and common areas daily.
Clean office spaces on a regular schedule that is set by the Maintenance Supervisor.
Using the apartment cleaning checklist, clean vacant apartment homes after each move out.
Clean and organize the pool house. Tasks include straightening of the chairs on the pool deck, cleaning of the pool house public bathrooms (to include showers), and vacuuming and dusting of the amenity spaces attached to the pool house building.
Remove used towels in the pool area and replace them with freshly laundered towels daily.
Maintain all cleaning equipment and supplies.
Assist in removing debris from outside public spaces, amenity spaces, and common area, and empty public trash cans.
Clean elevator cab, lobby, and door tracks as regularly scheduled by the Maintenance Supervisor.
Comply with all company policies/procedures and Fair Housing laws.

A customer service focused Cleaner who can effectively work with the site team to carry out the daily housekeeping needs of the community while building rapport with residents.

Excellent communication skills; must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.

Uses Merry Maids' cleaning products and procedures to clean, remove cobwebs, cleaning all hanging light fixtures, and dusting baseboards and windowsills each cleaning.
Uses Merry Maids' cleaning products and procedures to clean, sanitize, and deodorize all bathroom fixtures, showers, tubs, toilets, sinks, mirrors, and vanities.
Uses Merry Maids' cleaning products and procedures to clean kitchen appliances, counters, cabinets, tables, and chairs.
